  Usually good prices for fuel, though the speed bumps in and out are crazy. Plenty of pumps but not unusual to be out of fuel.

  Firstly, a big well done to Tesco — this is a well-run petrol station, and the staff do a great job. Secondly, (This is nothing to do with Tesco) a message to the person who confronted me for clipping their car: You stopped your car on double yellow lines, blocking a pedestrian crossing and next to a traffic island, effectively narrowing the road near the petrol station. Your indicator lights were not on either. By stopping in that position, it was likely that a passing car would clip yours — and yet you complained when that is exactly what happened. You didn't even need to stop there, you could have driven a few yards further forward and either turned left into the Tim Horton's car park or turn right to the petrol station so you would have been off the road. You then falsely accused me of failing to stop, despite the fact that I pulled into the petrol station immediately adjacent to where the incident occurred. I stopped there because it was the safest and most sensible place to do so — a point that was entirely lost on you. By the way, the apology I offered you was not valid. This is because criticism is a judgement, for a judgement to be valid both versions of events must be heard and that involves listening. You did NOT listen to me when I tried to reason with you, therefore your criticism is invalid and so is the apology. Ironically, it was the fact you wouldn't listen that I pretended to apologise because it was the only way of getting rid of you - and it worked! For context, the 'damage' to your car was barely visible and limited to the tip of the wing mirror. It will be dwarfed by normal wear and tear damage to the bodywork by stone chippings, etc in due course. Due to this, and the fact you drove away without asking to exchange details with me, confirms that you over reacted. Pro tip: If you do not want your car to be clipped, do not park it in a location where that is the likely outcome.
