  Extremely disappointing experience with Sixt. Before booking, I specifically called customer service to explain my situation and was assured that my foreign driving licence would be accepted, despite my UK licence being less than a year old. However, when I arrived to collect the car, I was refused because my foreign licence contained both English and Arabic characters—a requirement that had never been communicated to me. I relied on Sixt’s assurances, booked a hotel, and ended up losing £119 because I couldn’t get there and my plans were cancelled. The call was recorded, so there is evidence of the misinformation provided. The bigger issue is the complete lack of consistency and accountability. Customers should not have to pay the price for Sixt’s own mistakes. I would strongly advise anyone booking with Sixt to get all licence requirements confirmed in writing beforehand.

  I went to go pick up a car for the day from the branch in milton keynes. When i arrived i was asked by staff (didnt get his name but has a south african accent) do i have rental insurence as i have not booked it when i booked the car online?. I have never in my previous booking been told that i need to book insurence seperate. I showed him my personal car insurence but he said that does not cover rental cars. He also said i HAVE to have it if i want to rent the car out today. So whatever i went ahead and paid about £25 extra. After i recieved the rental invoice i can see i have paid a premium of £25 for damage waiver and it even shows insurence was already INCLUDED with the orginal booking price. After i returned the car i get a email saying there is new damages to the car. I literally went to london and back. About 65miles. Apprently there was about 4 new damages. Luckily i took a video at pickup and shows most of the damages on video. But i cant help but think i have been set up from forcefully sneakily taking out a damage waiver. Maybe due to staff not spotting the damage on previous renter and covering thier back or to claim extra commision. Something is not right specially with that south affrican accent staff. Sixt this was a let down. Your company was really good but this just left a bad impression on me and definatly not going back to that branch even if that staff is not working anymore. I got a good sense of sensing dodgyness and that place is riddles with it. AVOID!

  I had to make a last minute rental and Sixt was amazing; open on a Sunday, competitive prices, friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable car, and same day pick up and drop off! I loved the BMW X5. It was very comfortable and easy to drive. Highly recommened this business.

  Excellent experience with SIXT Milton Keynes. A special thanks to Trevor, who kindly upgraded our car at no additional cost and made the whole experience even better. Both pick-up and drop-off were extremely smooth, particularly as international licence holders and young drivers. We’ve used SIXT multiple times and will continue to do so. Consistently competitive prices, great service, and some of the best value in the industry. Highly recommended!
