Avoid this shop it’s scammers when you borrow the car and will go shopping or car parked even though you paid they will make sure to get every penny of you scammers avoid

I have rented vans from this branch many times before without any issues, which is why I was disappointed with my most recent experience.
After returning the van, I was informed that there was a dent on the driver's side and was told that I was responsible for the damage. I do not believe the damage occurred during my rental, and I was surprised by how the situation was handled. I felt that my concerns were not properly considered and that I was assumed to be at fault without sufficient evidence being provided.
What makes this even more concerning is that I was charged £2,250 for the repair. From my understanding, once the work is completed, the actual repair cost is expected to be around £500. This significant difference raises serious questions about the fairness and justification of the charge.
As a long-term customer, this experience has unfortunately affected my trust in this branch. I would have expected a more transparent and balanced approach, particularly given my history of renting from them without any previous issues.
Do not rent from this location if you are a business or vacation traveller.
Travel plans can change and be impacted by traffic incidents and if you fail to get your car back by 6pm there is no lockbox or any location where you can return your car to after hours. so if you hit a bad accident you may not be able to return the car to the next working day. every other car rental firm provides an out of hours drop off procedure.
In addition the car was dirty and was not available when we went to pick it up, Staff asked us for feedback and then had a surly attitude when we provided constructive feedback.
I have deleted my Enterprise account and will not be using them in future and I will go with a car hire firm that provides better services such as out of hours drop-off
Constant messing about with faulty vehicles, eventually swapped into a car even though I needed a van, then found out that was also faulty, swapped that out into another van which was a rush, so much so that they didn't even clean the van inside or out after it had just been returned after a 6 week hire so you can imagine how filthy that van was inside, to make matters worse there was no dab/fm radio reception so I had 4 weeks of NO music whilst doing average of 1k miles per week.
Never got called back on the multiple occasions that I phoned up and was told to wait for a call back from the manager. Absolute shambolic branch Gillingham is. I will NEVER personally hire a vehicle from enterprise again. FYI it was my company that booked this hire, had it of been my decision I would have not used them as similar occurred the last few times over the past 3 years. Abysmal to deal with, do NOT recommend
