  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing customer service from James at SIXT Manchester Airport! We had an issue with the car we’d originally booked, but James went above and beyond to make sure we had a suitable car for our family of five. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and genuinely cared about getting everything sorted for us. What could have been a stressful start to our trip turned into a really positive experience, all thanks to James. An absolute credit to the company. Thank you so much, James!

  Collected a car from Manchester Airport at 9am on Monday 21 September. An email had been sent at 8am (whilst in the air) suggesting I check in online. By the time I got to the car rental office I had not checked emails. Customer service agent (male/ginger hair/beard) was not at all helpful. He expected me to have already checked in online. I did not have access to internet, he eventually told us we could use Sixt's QR code to get online. Was not keen to help us at all - eventually did - very reluctantly. His words included "if you laugh in my face again I will not give you a car"!! Did not explain fuel policy or about checking damage on car, had to go back to office to ask about that. Will not be choosing Sixt again!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the smoothest car rental experiences I’ve had. Matt at SIXT Manchester Airport was friendly, welcoming and genuinely personable. He took the time to ask about our trip and what had brought us over, and even offered us a complimentary upgrade, with the car conveniently located in spot 001. Having hired cars with other providers where you’re sent halfway up a multi-storey car park to find your vehicle, this was a refreshing change! Great service from start to finish. Matt is a credit to the team, and I’d happily recommend SIXT Manchester Airport.

  Wir hatten einen Economy-Mittelklassewagen-Benziner gebucht. Bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, wir hätten ein Elektroauto gebucht. Wir glauben dem Mitarbeiter (James), es hätte ja etwas mit der Buchung über den ADAC schief gelaufen sein können. Er bot uns dann (als einzig verfügbare alternativen) einen Jeep und einen BMW an. Den BMW haben wir genommen und das Upgrade inkl. Standort-Zuschlag (warum auch immer dieser berechnet wird, wir hatten ja von Anfang an diesen Standort gebucht) wurde mit 400€ berechnet (die Buchung belief sich auf 570€). Im Nachhinein stellte sich heraus, dass unsere Buchung korrekt war und uns ein Auto in unserer gebuchten Kategorie zugestanden hätte. Meine Reklamationsversuche wurden bei Sixt abgelehnt. Also, Augen auf bei SIXT, hier werden Sie unter Umständen belogen!

  Absolutely disgusting customer service and an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I collected the vehicle at Manchester Airport, the service was poor. I felt pressured into taking a larger vehicle, and the situation only became worse from there. Most concerning is that damage was already present on the vehicle when I received it. I specifically returned to the counter and informed a member of staff about the damage. I was assured that it would be reported and recorded. Despite doing exactly what I was supposed to do, I am now being contacted regarding that same damage. I have also made multiple attempts to contact the company by email to resolve the situation, without receiving an acceptable resolution. I have now formally requested that the matter be escalated to the Branch Manager and investigated. The way this has been handled has been completely unacceptable. When a customer takes the time to report existing damage and is assured by an employee that it has been recorded, they should not then have to defend themselves over that same damage. Based on my experience, the customer service at this location has been disgusting. I would strongly encourage anyone hiring a vehicle here to photograph and video every part of the vehicle before leaving, regardless of what staff tell you has been recorded. A thoroughly disappointing experience from beginning to end.
