  Great experience renting a car from here. Filled out the form on the bus ride from the terminal, grabbed the keys, got shown the car and went. When we dropped the car off there was someone waiting to check it over. Signed the tablet and straight on a bus back to the terminal. Easy and quick. Also had a car which had 800 miles on, so seems like they have a nice new fleet of car.

  After a very difficult day, we met James at Sixt Manchester Airport, and he was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, professional and genuinely service-minded, he went out of his way to help us find the best possible solution in a complicated situation. A true lifesaver — and a real credit to Sixt.

  The building for the sixt cars is not with the other car rentals but the directions were really clear. The staff are super friendly and uncomplicated. All digital without any paper (love that) and we got e free upgrade. Thank you :)

  Great friendly branch! Matt assisted me and was very helpful, kind, professional and quick. Managed to get a small upgrade which was nice as a Diamond Member. Important to note: the counter in the Main Car Rental area was closed when I got there, so you have to walk over to the actual Car Park Office.

  Updated Review June 2nd: This experience went from stellar to absolutely terrible very quickly. God forbid you have a need for any sort of assistance once the vehicle is in your possession. I noticed an unsafe tire condition that I had missed upon taking possession of the vehicle, although it was captured in my video walk-around. Sixt gave me a vehicle that was unsafe and not roadworthy and then has made it next to impossible to get it resolved. I have spent five plus hours being passed around on phone calls with no resolution. First, the “tire partner” couldn’t find replacement tires in stock. The roadside assistance couldn’t arrange a replacement without the branches approval. The branch is unreachable after I tried calling multiple times through their customer service. I have spoken with no fewer than a dozen equally useless people and all they can seem to do is pass me on to another representative. My incident reference number is: 1842496 in case anyone from Sixt reads this and can help. They were quick to respond when I posted a positive review yesterday. Please see pictures of the unsafe, unroadworthy tires Sixt allowed to be taken off their lot. Also note the excessive tread-wear, tire damage notwithstanding. ***Also note that the customer service line referenced by the Sixt responses to these reviews is useless there is no way to contact the branch directly. They do not respond to email sent to their branch email either*** Initial Review June 1, 2026: Terrific experience. Wonderful agent, nice vehicle and overall easy & pleasant experience.
