  Absolutely exceptional service provided by Zak (Manager). I had to hire a 9 seater to travel to France at short notice and he took ownership and made sure everything was arranged and in place, jumping though all hoops. I hire a lot for work internationally and UK but the experience with Zak was by far the best. Thank you.

  From last 6 months I am using enterprise hire car from the same branch. I am travelling for work and keeping car for two weeks. This branch staff is outstanding in helping me with regards to any issues during hire period. Very cooperative and professionals. I came across Grimsby and Manchester airport branch as well, I was very disappointed from rest of the other branches.

  Rented a car from here twice in the space of a few weeks and received incredible service both times! Staff are always welcoming and Aisha(sorry if i’ve spelt your name wrong!) is so lovely and a real asset to the team. Would not hesitate to return at all based on how easy it is and how friendly the team are.

  I booked a vehicle several weeks in advance for collection on 20 August and return on 25 August. However, just 24 hours before my scheduled collection, I received a phone call from a member of staff at the branch who appeared to be trying to find reasons for me to cancel or change my booking. During the call, I was questioned about whether I was sure I needed a seven-seater vehicle, despite this being the vehicle I had specifically booked. I was also asked whether I was sure I could pay the £500 deposit by credit card, which I confirmed I was more than happy to do. Towards the end of the conversation, I was then told that I was apparently outside the branch’s “radius” and that my booking would therefore need to be transferred to another branch, at the new, significantly higher prices. I find this completely unacceptable. If there is a radius or local residency restriction that affects a customer’s eligibility to hire a vehicle, this should be made clear at the time of booking, not communicated to the customer just 24 hours before collection after they have made arrangements and planned their trip. I have hired vehicles from various companies and branches across England on numerous occasions and have never encountered anything like this. The member of staff I spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the conversation. I subsequently spoke to the branch manager, expecting him to resolve the situation, but unfortunately his attitude was equally disappointing. When I explained the situation, he laughed and stated, “Well, you haven’t been in a car yet, so your feedback doesn’t matter.” I found this comment extremely disrespectful and completely inappropriate, particularly from a branch manager dealing with a genuine customer complaint. The overall behaviour of the staff was, quite frankly, atrocious. This situation has caused considerable inconvenience and has completely disrupted plans for my daughter’s birthday weekend. I have now been left having to pay almost double the price of the booking I made in advance due to what appears to be a lack of clear information and extremely poor handling of my booking by your staff. I am currently awaiting a response to be provided with with: * A copy of the policy or terms and conditions that state the relevant “radius” restriction. * Confirmation of where this restriction was displayed or communicated to me when I made my original booking. * An explanation as to why I was only informed of this restriction 24 hours before collection. * An explanation as to why my booking was accepted in the first place if I was apparently outside the permitted radius. * An explanation regarding the conduct and comments made by the branch manager. If this restriction is a mandatory eligibility requirement, I would expect it to have been clearly communicated before I completed my booking. This is also a legal requirement!
