The car had a strong cigarette smell, which was masked at pickup with a bubblegum air freshener. Once that wore off, the cigarette odor in the upholstery was overpowering. The interior was also not very clean. When I returned, I tried to resolve this. I contacted live chat twice, and each time I was told the Leighton Buzzard branch would follow up. No one ever did. I also spoke with the Thornton Heath branch, but by that point, the rental was ending. I expected better communication and a vehicle that met a minimum standard of cleanliness.
