  I’m really disappointed. I had a vehicle booked to attend a funeral in Devon and when we arrived there computer was messing up and couldn’t enter my wife’s details so we have had to miss a funeral and wait 5 days for a refund . I will never recommend or attempt to hire from here again . Utterly disgraceful service

  Fantastic experience! Smooth as silk, Declan provided exceptional customer service. As new SIXt customers from the USA, we found the online reservation process straightforward. When we picked up the car at the Richmond office, Declan was in the car park by coincidence and he made it a pleasure. The car performed brilliantly and was a joy to drive (Cupra) for a week up to Liverpool, the Lake District, and Wales. When we dropped off the car a week later, Declan was closing up for the day and welcomed us back with a huge smile. Wow, my best experience renting a vehicle happens in England!

  The service at sixt in Richmond is fabulous. Quick, easy efficient service with people who seem to really enjoy their job and are happy to help you

  Very disappointing experience with SIXT Richmond. First, after returning the car, SIXT contacted me claiming that I had caused new damage. However, exactly the same damage is already listed in my pre-rental agreement as existing damage before I collected the car. I have now had to provide photos and dispute the claim. Secondly, when I arrived, the car I had booked a month in advance was not available. They had a higher-category car and initially asked me to pay around £150 extra per day for an upgrade. When I said I didn’t understand why I should pay because SIXT did not have the car I had booked, the manager offered me a discount. I refused again, and only then was the upgrade provided for free. The whole experience felt very misleading and has left a very bad impression.
