  Shocking experience.. after paying to hire a car on arrival they said my license had been refused and wouldn’t give me a reason .. I only have 3 points so that should not happen .. terrible experience

  Have had good experience with this branch and they upgraded us when they had availability. The reason I didn’t give 5* is the same as reviews below- they process car returns slowly and this means deposit takes time to be refunded. I even got an email saying the car wasn’t returned, and it made me panic- it was just their slow system. Entrance is through the shopping center.

  I have rented a lot through this Putney Branch and each time the process has been smooth and seamless. Booking the car online, then popping in to collect the key is straight forward. Every car I've pick up has been cleaned beautifully. The team are polite and efficient and Isaac is especially helpful.

  Awful. Charged for a broken car they recovered themselves. Hired an EV from Sixt Putney. Instantly knew it was a mistake based off other customers already getting zero help from the poor singular soul at the desk. Annoying but not damming. But MUCH WORSE the EV threw up a critical error on its first charge and was completely bricked. So obviously I call it in and after a 1hr wait, the roadside assistance (they sub crontract the work out) confirmed it couldn’t be fixed and recovered it on behalf of Sixt. After 3 hours of waiting for SIXT to acknowledge the report, no replacement car was sent and I got sent home in a taxi. Pretty shoddy right? But oh no it got worse. Customer service had no view of my case despite a case number. Their 24/7 line and this branch were both closed when I tried to report it. Since then I get constant calls and emails chasing a “late return,” a hold on my card, and now threats of 4% interest, on a car Sixt has had the entire time. Nearly a week on. Told multiple times a refund is being arranged. Nothing. Utterly atrocious from start to finish. You try call the branch? AI agent picks up the phone. Try email? AI agent sends a threatening response. The customer service team must also be sick of it, they call me up and say, oh yeah I can see all the call notes. Sorry we can’t do a refund until the Putney branch issue an end of rental. Oh you want to speak with them? “no sorry they dont take calls” BAD BAD BAD This was my first rental through Sixt and no I wont be coming back
