  I write this sorry tale with the hope it might guide other renters and actually illicit a response from customer service as they have been extremely lax. Two issues. 1: was told on pick up, car tank full, return full. Standard right? When filling it after a short day rental turned out to be almost empty. Turns out the car was only 3/8 full so I paid £40 extra to return the car full. Took 3 emails and 2 hours on the chat line and several operators before someone responded, reviewed my receipts and agreed I was Owed a refund. Have i seen a refund in now 3 weeks? No! 2 emails unacknowledged still in the pipeline. 2: Sixt charged me £100 for a parking fine at a friend’s business that had been waived by the parking Company. Still waiting for even just an acknowledgement of my well documented issues let alone both refunds to come through. I’ll come back and tell you how long it eventually takes.

  We always use Sixt when we return to the UK in the summer. Usually we pick up from Heathrow or Gatwick on arrival, but this year we really appreciated being able to pick up from Putney and save the premium pick-up fee and a few days' rental when we didn't really need the car at the start of the holiday. We had an Audi Q2, and we loved the car. It was very comfortable and efficient on fuel. We also appreciated the staff at the branch, especially Isaac Tokura, who facilitated an earlier-than-booked pick-up from the branch as our plans had changed due to the hot weather. We really appreciated Isaac's helpful and kind nature. We will book again next year. Thanks Guys
