    Avoid booking - Rubbish experience start to finish, couldn't provide the right vehicle, overbooked, had to wait 3 hours to return the car, charged for a scratch that would have been impossible to make (luckily paid the insane full insurance but the principle stands). Helplines openly admitted being in other countries and couldn't help or understand how to assist. Won't use again they're clearly struggling and cutting corners to make ends meet. Let's see if Sixt reply to this with a nice AI generated emoji filled reply with false promises!

    Excellent experience with SIXT Stratford International. I originally booked a BMW 3 Series or similar, but when my booked vehicle wasn’t available, Az went above and beyond to help. He upgraded me to a Volvo XC60, which was several categories above my original booking, and made sure I was looked after throughout the process. I’d also like to thank Ahmed for making the return process quick, smooth, and hassle-free. Great customer service from both staff members and a very professional experience overall. Highly recommend this branch and will definitely rent from them again.

    ​I recently returned a car to the SIXT Stratford branch in the UK, and I cannot praise Christopher enough for his outstanding service. ​I had completely forgotten to fill up the petrol tank before bringing the vehicle back. Instead of just processing the return and letting me hit with expensive company administrative fees, Christopher kindly advised me to go and fill it up myself first to save me the extra charges. ​He was incredibly professional, helpful, and truly customer-oriented. It is rare to find someone who genuinely looks out for the customer's best interest like that. I appreciated his service so much, he made the whole process stress-free. ​Good job, Christopher! SIXT is lucky to have you on the team. I will definitely be renting from this branch again.

    We booked a big car for 3 days. The day before, I got a call asking if we'd like to upgrade for an additional £100-150, I said yes. The morning of the pick up, as we get ready to leave home, we get a confirmation email adressed to a complete stranger's name saying that our car was picked up - apparently this other customer has the same first name and that was enough to confuse the employee into giving them the car that was meant for us. We got to the agency to try and clear everything up, and we ended up waiting there for well over an hour while they're trying to scramble to correct their mistake. And then they wanted to give us a car that was £450 more expensive than what we booked. No apology. We just left and took the train... Worst display I've ever seen from any business.

    AVOID. - Expensive to start with - Very unfair additional insurance policies at over £50+ a day!! - Used every scare tactic possible to try to push me into paying for those policies. - Not opting for those policies meant the excess I was liable for was the ENTIRE value of the £60k+ car they were trying to hire me. I have never had to accept the full value of the car as an excess! - When I asked for a lower value car as a result they hired me a brand new one saying that was all that was available. - On return I filled up the petrol, only to later be charged a £50 refill charge (which was later refunded on my challenge) - I have been accused of damaging an alloy wheel and left awaiting further correspondence on that which I will need to fight - I have been charged £130 for using the Blackwall tunnel despite having paid the £4 to use it. The licence plate hasn’t been properly set up with DVLA, Sixt paid the £90 fine (and added a £40 admin fee to me) thereby admitting liability for the fine and forfeiting my legal right to challenge the fine. I continue to dispute this and seek refund, and I’m waiting for the second such charge for my return journey back through the tunnel (which I also paid!) WATCH OUT Ps Don’t believe the seemingly helpful Customer service response below. I have of course been attempting to resolve this via customer service who are completely unhelpful and obstructive. They repeatedly reply with the same boiler plate responses despite me laying out evidence that I am not liable for their extra charges. I now have no other option than to escalate and hope my credit card company can resolve this for me UPDATED: Other customers do not be fooled by SIXT fake “helpful” response below. Their customer services team have ignored all of my challenges and even now continue to pursue me for monies the credit card company is now disputing via due consumer process. AVOID Sixt if you really want to help me then contact me via email with an actual response to my points raised and stop hounding me for ever more money
