  Had a positive experience, I note the negative reviews and worry but the last 3 times I have hired a car with Sixt have all been positive, no extra charges, no struggles with return and a free upgrade everytime.

  Massive shout out to Quinton. I made a booking last minute with Sixt Stratford after i found out my booking with the Canary Wharf branch fell through the same morning. When I arrived at the branch Quinton did everything in his power to ensure I had a car suitable for my trip at a reasonable price. He's a huge asset to Sixt and I would highly recommend anyone looking to rent a car in London to pay him a visit. Thanks again Quinton, keep up the great work!

  Extremely poor service. I had a confirmed booking, which was also confirmed via WhatsApp, only to arrive and be told there was no car available. I was then offered an alternative for around £93 extra and directed to the King's Cross branch instead, wasting my time and causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I submitted a formal complaint requesting compensation, but SIXT haven't even bothered to respond. Completely unacceptable customer service. Would not recommend.

  Absolutely dreadful experience with this brand on 2nd October. Had a car booked and confirmed OK to collect late under SIXT's flight delay policy, which they confirmed in writing was in place. We provided evidence of this at the branch, after dragging all our bags to the depot the following morning as instructed. Told there was no car available and that it was our fault. Zero prior warning, no telephone call or email was sent to us to advise that we shouldn't make the journey to stratford with all our luggage to collect the car as advised. When trying to resolve the issue we have recieved terrible customer service both in person and on the phone. We were told we could rebook a car from another branch at more than double the price and travel there at our expense. The company did not comply with it's own policies, put us through lots of stress. It took more than 48 hours to get a response from customer service online and told we would be given no compensation - only a discount on a future booking - how rich!! Writing this review in the hope that someone with some accountability for SIXT's policies picks it up and reviews our complain email. Currently being ignored by customer services and undergoing much emotional distress as a result. DO NOT BOOK A CAR FROM HERE.

  I am having a Sixt subscription with a BMW 5 series and I was told to swab my car after 2 weeks. I was told to swab my car three times and they failed to give me a car on those occasions. I already had taken 3 days off just to prepare for the swabbing. In return, I failed to get in touch with them and nobody is calling me back. They gave me different reasons for car not available. I hope someone from the company can help to improve the situation. Hope they can understand my helplessness and frustration.
