  Hired a car for 4 days during the summer holidays and was pleased with the entire process from start to finish. I was served by Tahmid who was friendly and quick in his service. I later had a follow up call from the manager to apologise as I didn’t get the car I was hoping to, so that was appreciated. Will be using them again!

  Hired a car and the guys told be the will give me a free upgrade when we rerurned the car we got charged £750 for the upgrade tried to complain and get our money back but the refused to admit any wrong doing and was an approprate charge. Never using these guys again!!!!!!!!

  I booked a luxury elite 7 seater SUV to travel from London to Glasgow. When arrived on due date, car wasn’t available and they pretended that they tried to contact me, but mobile number was wrong. That was a lie because I received confirmation and completed online check in on the same number. They finally located a minivan in Heathrow Terminal 5, but said they won’t deliver. I had to travel more than 1.5 hours to get the van. When arrived, it appeared that no one communicated with them, so I had to wait more than an hour to bring the minivan in. Finally received the minivan after 5 hours of agony. Instead of paying for my time and travel, they charged my card again for full insurance, extra mileage (even though I paid for full insurance and unlimited mileage) and one way return of car to Canary Wharf. I ended up paying almost double the contract amount and missed all my appointments in Glasgow. I will never again approach Sixt nor recommend to anyone.

  Tahmid very helpful and kind. Easy to pick up and drop off (even for me). Would recommend all inclusive protection for peace of mind if you're a nervous driver. Will probs rent from the Canary Wharf branch again in the near future!

  I had a very disappointing experience with the SIXT branch at 60 Canary Wharf today. At around 10:30 a.m., I made a reservation over the phone through SIXT customer service and was quoted £135 per day. My collection time was 12:00 p.m. At approximately 12:15 p.m., while I was almost at the branch, I received a call informing me that the call centre had made a mistake because they did not know what vehicles were actually available. I was told that the only available car would now cost £160 per day. Although this was not my fault, I accepted the higher price because I had already made plans for the day and was travelling with my family, including my infant child. I spoke to the branch manager, Jonathan, who acknowledged the issue and agreed to honour the £160 rate. However, after arriving at the branch, inspecting the vehicle, and agreeing to proceed, the staff member processing the rental suddenly informed me that the lowest price they could offer was £172 per day. When I explained that Jonathan had just confirmed £160, I was told that the manager had also made a mistake. So, according to SIXT: * The call centre made a mistake. * The branch manager made a mistake. * Yet the customer was expected to bear the cost of those mistakes. The entire experience wasted a significant amount of our time and effectively ruined our plans for the day. We had organised our itinerary around collecting this vehicle, and because of SIXT’s repeated errors, we were forced to change our plans at the last minute. Travelling with an infant made the situation even more difficult, and the uncertainty and repeated changes caused us considerable stress and frustration. What is most disappointing is not that a mistake happened—mistakes can occur—but that despite acknowledging the errors were entirely on SIXT’s side, no effort was made to honour the agreed price or resolve the situation fairly. Instead, we were repeatedly asked to pay more. This experience fell well below the standard I would expect from an international car rental company. I hope SIXT reviews its internal communication and booking processes so that other customers do not have to go through the same ordeal.
