  Renting the vehicle was easy and the staff at the front desk are very kind. They gave me an upgrade on the vehicle as well. However, I attempted to return the vehicle after hours on the street they indicated for returns. There was nowhere to park on the street as all parking spaces were completely taken. I contacted Sixt customer support while still in the vehicle. They eventually directed me to park on the neighbouring street, where they confirmed that their team could find and pick up the vehicle the next morning. A month later, I have received TWO parking fines - totally £400. Sixt let the vehicle sit in this spot for 2 additional days after I returned the vehicle, and have passed on both parking infractions to me. I am in the process of disputing these claims. I have spoken with multiple people at Sixt on this and they have been unable to assist me, other than give me a general email account to contest these fines.

  Incredibly unprofessional and terrible customer service. I was told that my booking had been cancelled half an hour before I picked up the car and then had to pay almost twice as much to hire a car at short notice from another provider, causing a lot of stress and ruining the start of my holiday. I was told on the phone when my booking was cancelled how sorry Sixt was and that they would call back with a gesture of apology. This was a lie as that was the last time I heard from Sixt - multiple emails and calls went unanswered and after I escalated this to the BVRLA I was told that Sixt had no record of a call to me and that my booking had been logged as a 'no-show'. Which is strange because when I call back the number that called me to inform me of the cancellation the automated response notes the line is recorded and then says it is a Sixt line. These guys are cowboys, ignore what may look like a good deal and go with one of the proper operators in Kings Cross. Edit: IGNORE THEIR REPLY BELOW SUGGESTING I CONTACT THEM, NO BIG SURPRISE THAT THEY DIDN'T RESPOND TO MY EMAIL

  Walked into the Caledonian Road branch and was helped by Denis. Super helpful and friendly staff member and service. It was all very quick and efficient for the car collection and drop off. Car was great. Very happy and this will be my first point of call for car hire in London. Thanks!
