- RRRyanOct 2, 20261.0Beware of Extra Fees and Unpaid Toll Charges. When I picked up my car, I asked how the tolls would be processed. The Sixt representative advised the tolls are automatically processed by Sixt, so no additional actions are needed by me. When I dropped off the car, the Sixt representative advised I now need to go to a third-party website and pay a congestion fee. I already paid a congestion fee with Sixt when making the reservation, but now I also need to pay another congestion fee outside of Sixt. I paid the additional congestion fee before leaving. A week after returning the car, I received a notice from Sixt that a tunnel toll was unpaid, so Sixt is charging me a higher fine and adding on a £40 administration fee. When I asked about the extra charges, staff pointed to fine print in the contract and couldn't explain why they advised tolls were automatically paid and then later charged higher fines and fees to pay the toll.
