- ABAron BleierJun 10, 20265.0I wanted to leave a really positive review for Omar, who helped me with my recent car rental. I rented a car last week to travel to France. Before picking up the car, Omar told me to call support so the cross-border add-on could be added to my booking for a fee. I then called support, but they told me I didn’t need to pay anything extra and that I could take the car to France without any additional charge. When I arrived to collect the car, I asked again just to make sure everything was okay for me to drive to France. Unfortunately, I was then told that I actually had to pay an additional £300. By that point, I had already paid for other parts of the trip that were non-refundable, so I felt like I had no real choice but to pay the fee, even though I had been given the wrong information beforehand. The situation itself was really frustrating, but Omar was genuinely helpful throughout. He was patient, understanding, and did his best to help me as much as he could. He stayed professional, listened to what had happened, and tried to make a stressful situation easier to deal with. I really appreciated the way Omar handled everything. He was kind, accommodating, and clearly cared about helping. Even though the issue with the extra charge was disappointing, Omar’s customer service was excellent and made a big difference.

Sixt support has yet to resolve any of these issues. Do not rent from here.
