Despite booking two days in advance, despite having a perfect credit rating and zero points on my licence, they refused to issue a car. They would not tell us why and the agent behind the desk was almost comically similar to the computer says no person from Little Britain. Despite knowing that I was grieving and needed the car to go up to visit my dead mother's house to sort out the estate that day and that it was time critical because I was picking up my mum's cats. The AI customer service that she put me through started speaking back to me in German. The human representatives were all Spanish and they couldn't understand English so I nearly switched to speaking Spanish in order to communicate with them. Never again.

I did notice parking was a tad limited in the designated bays so just confirm with them what the procedure is if you get back and there’s no SIXT bays available to park in.
