  Customer service at National was excellent. The employees were friendly, professional, and eager to make my car rental experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. There were no hidden fees or high pressure sales pitches. I felt like this was a company I could trust, and I was not disappointed. I would rent a car from National again.

  Took over an hour to get car. Cars not ready and first car offered was completely filthy dirty with thick tree sap that was also all over the windows. Second car much better but was low on gas and also not clean. Lack of staff and no sense of any urgency to get us into a car. Excruciatingly slow, but attendant was friendly and very apologetic.

  Just so that people are aware - the fact that you make a reservation (a week or a month from the actual pick up) does not mean that National will guarantee that you would have a car. I have less than 24 hours to my pickup time and people are still not sure if they would have a car to give (the answer I am being given is “50/50”). Will keep this updated for next developments….

  Made a reservation for a Volvo XC40 "or similar". Was given a Vauxhall Mokka covered with pigeon faeces, only superficially cleaned. There is no after-hour return option. I could not find a nearby charging station at night and returned the car with less charge than given. They added $40 (!) penalty for the small difference (I rented a car from SIXT few days earlier where EC is complimentary). Needless to say, I will not return and advise caution regarding the scrupleless practices at this location.
