  Returned my rental a few hours late and was initially charged an additional 60 pounds which was understandable. Then once I signed my car out and came back to sign the papers they said it's actually 125pounds plus an additional day of insurance at 45pounds and 90 pounds to fill the tank since it was half empty. My insurance covered the whole day but they said it expires when I return the car. Total robbery. The daily rate for my vehicle is 45 pounds. The staff then proceeded to act very rudely towards me then tried to claim I scratched the rim. Went outside and I cleaned off the residue so the car was returned with no scratches. I will be escalating my complaint to green motion. I paid more in late fees for one day than I did for the whole week of the car rental. Totally got taken advantage of. Do no recommend this location to anyone

  Avoid this company at all costs. This has been one of the worst car rental experiences I have ever had. After returning the vehicle, I was faced with damage allegations that I completely reject. It appears that every opportunity is taken to retain customers’ deposits, leaving you to fight for money that should never have been withheld in the first place. The vehicles are handed over through the Hilton Paddington car park, which gives the whole operation an appearance of legitimacy, but my experience has been anything but professional. Customers deserve transparency, honesty and fair treatment, and I received none of those. What is also concerning is the huge contrast between the glowing 5-star reviews and the large number of detailed negative reviews describing very similar experiences. I cannot verify whether those positive reviews are genuine, but I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read all reviews carefully before making a booking. I will be pursuing every available avenue to recover my deposit. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no hesitation in taking legal action and reporting my experience to the relevant authorities and consumer bodies. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise people to rent elsewhere. There are many reputable rental companies that value their customers instead of leaving them feeling accused, ignored and out of pocket.

  I rented a 9-seater for a weekend. The car was not ready on time and I had to wait around 30 minutes while it was being cleaned. Returning the car was also slow. I waited more than 30 minutes for someone to check it back in. They also expect you to have photos of any previous damage. If you do not, they will try to charge you, even if the damage was already there when you collected the car. If you are renting a 9-seater, be especially careful to take photos of the roof and the top edges of the vehicle. The one I rented was a centimetres higher than the height limit at the car park entrance, so it was very easy for it to get scratched when entering. They will try to blame the customer for damage that has already happened before. On the positive side, the car was nice and clean inside. However, there was a lot of existing damage on the outside, so I would strongly recommend taking detailed photos before driving away.

  I rent regularly from the team here at GreenMotion in Paddington. Munna is my go-to person and is always a great help when i hire for both work and personal reasons. The company often gets a bad wrap with accusations people are being stung for damage charges, but this is not my experience. The team are decent - just take plenty of pictures and video the moment you hire. Sometimes things are missed on the report or something could have happened between hire - just take pics and you're fine!

  Please don’t ignore all the bad reviews on here like I did - worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental. The lady on the desk who served me upon collection was kind but I was charged £230 on drop off for a scratch on the alloy and a chip in the windshield that I took a picture of just after collecting the car. There was a time and location stamp on the picture and Abdul tried to insinuate that I had caused the damage somewhere between Paddington and Bayswater. Absolutely ridiculous. Please don’t be drawn in by the cheap prices - you’ll end up paying far more eventually!
