  Rokas at Enterprise Ilford was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly helpful, friendly and swift throughout the whole car rental process.   Fantastic experience at Enterprise Ilford! Pick-up and drop-off were super easy, and the car was practically brand new (Vauxhall Grandland 2025) and spotless. Special thanks to Dhruv for being so helpful and making the whole process hassle-free. Great prices and top-notch customer service. Highly recommend!

  I hired their Vauxhall Grandland White 73 Plate for a day, I dropped it off today earlier. The car was given to me in a great condition and it was beautiful to drive! The brother who served me to pick up the car yesterday was very friendly, respectful and professional and was quick to get me into my car which I appreciated. And the sister who I gave the car back to at drop off today was quick to assist me, respectful and professional at her service. They are both efficient enterprise workers 💯 i will surely use this enterprise again 👍🏼 Thank you team

  I was very disappointed with my vehicle collection experience at the Ilford branch. I arrived at the Ilford branch at 9:00 am on Friday 24 July, as instructed, after completing the online check-in and agreeing to the rental terms, including an excess of £1,750. After waiting around 10–20 minutes to be served, I was unexpectedly told that my booked vehicle was unavailable (for no fault of mine) and that I would have to accept a replacement vehicle with an increased excess of £2,200. The counter staff were neither cooperative nor understanding. I was told that if I wanted a vehicle immediately, I had to accept the higher excess; otherwise, I would have to wait several hours for the SUV I had originally booked. As I was travelling with my elderly mother and family and had a long journey ahead, this placed me under considerable and unnecessary pressure. It felt as though I was being coerced into accepting terms that were completely different from those I had already agreed to online. I asked to speak to the manager, but instead of resolving the issue, I was simply told that nothing could be done and that I had to accept the revised terms. This was not the level of customer service I expected from a company such as Enterprise. Fortunately, another member of staff later came over from the parking area, asked what had happened, listened to my explanation, and immediately recognised that I was correct. He promptly restored the agreed excess of £1,750, allowing the rental to proceed on the original terms. I am grateful to him for resolving the matter professionally. The vehicle itself was good and performed well throughout our trip. However, before collection, I was told by the staff that it would first be washed and cleaned before being handed over. When I eventually received it, the entire vehicle was still covered in water and had not been dried. Water droplets remained all over the bodywork, side mirrors and windows, leaving water spots that reduced visibility until they eventually dried. In addition, there were no floor mats fitted in the vehicle, which gave the impression that the preparation and cleaning had not been completed to the standard I would expect from Enterprise. I would like to state that the collection process was stressful and non-professional. Enterprise should ensure that customers who have completed online check-in and agreed to specific contractual terms are not pressured to accept altogether different terms upon arrival due to issues beyond the customer's control. I also believe vehicles should be fully prepared, properly dried and complete with all standard interior fittings before being handed over to customers at the agreed time. I strongly recommend that Enterprise provides clear instructions and additional training to the staff at its Ilford branch to uphold the highest standards of customer service, professionalism and integrity. Staff should treat customers with courtesy, respect and empathy, particularly where the issue has arisen through no fault of the customer. Their priority should be to resolve problems fairly and efficiently, rather than placing customers under pressure to accept contractual terms which they have not agreed to. A solution-oriented approach, transparent communication and a genuine willingness to help would have avoided the unnecessary stress and inconvenience my family experienced. Enterprise has an excellent reputation, and I hope the Ilford branch reflects those same values by putting customer care, fairness and accountability at the centre of every interaction.

  Fortnightly van hire over spring to autumn every year at this branch. Until July 2026, this was genuinely the best enterprise branch that I have dealt with. However it seems at the beginning of July, the branch seemed to bring over a fully new team of staff (maybe franchised?), and they're sadly always understaffed, with very little time for customer service. Perhaps not their fault, but a complete opposite experience from what I've been used to as this branch for the previous 2 years of regular service Hopefully they can turn it round, but it's not been a promising first month.
