  The staff member who assisted us during the pick-up was very friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly and efficiently and offered us several additional options, some of which we decided to take. He also explained exactly how to collect the car key and how to get to the parking area. Overall, the entire pick-up process was very smooth, clear and well organised. We were very happy with the experience.

  Charged us more than double the price we booked originally by forcing us into an undisclosed expensive upgrade we never asked for. All the while much cheaper cars available for same day booking on their own website. The branch manager will repeatedly lie to your face. I’ve never seen anything like this. This man has to be fired. Avoid at all costs.

  I highly advise caution when renting from SIXT Heathrow. I prepaid my rental via Klook with ZERO excess insurance (£945.17). At the counter, I was instructed to sign on a digital pad without being shown the first page containing the pricing details. I later discovered that redundant, paid insurance packages were added to my agreement without my informed consent. More alarmingly, there are undeniable discrepancies between the document I signed and what I was finally charged. The Rental Agreement I signed authorized a total of £1,018.92, explicitly stating an upgrade rate of £65.00/day and a 9-day rental period. However, after I left, my Final Invoice shows that the upgrade rate was inexplicably increased to £82.50/day, the rental duration was extended to 10 days (despite returning the vehicle early), and an unexplained 'Rental Change Fee' was added. As a result, my credit card was charged an unauthorized £1,510.45. Combined with my initial prepaid amount of £945.17, my total expenditure for this 9-day rental reached a staggering £2,455.62—averaging an absurd £272.85 per day. Customer Service (Case #152607) promised a 24-hour response but has ignored my follow-ups for a week. I have initiated a Chargeback with my credit card issuer and will be forwarding my evidence to Action Fraud (UK) and the BVRLA for a formal investigation.

  Very friendly and competent staff, we had a great experience! We landed in terminal 2 and had to make our way to terminal 5 since we booked through a third party. As exhausted as we were, the staff was extraordinarily friendly, we got an upgrade and were able to return the car in terminal 2. The car itself was very new and a joy to drive. It was also located less than 5min walk from the desk, which was very convenient. Return was without any issues as well, and we appreciated the signage, which made the navigation super easy.

  We had an unpleasant experience. We had booked a car and when we arrived the guy at the desk (Rupesh) told us our car was not available. He then proceeded with telling us to not worry as he would have upgraded us using his 40% discount and marking the car as a lower class to reduce the price. Turned out he nonchalantly tried to double the price of our rental, as he did not mention at any point that the price displayed was on top of the prepaid amount . he was very nonchalant about it. I consider that a really bad business practice. It left me a very bad taste about SIXT. One doesn't just DOUBLE the price of a rental without giving any heads up. SIXT could use some more honest employees. I have photographic evidence of everything available on request.
