  We recently rented a vehicle from Alamo, and we felt compelled to share what an incredible experience it was — entirely thanks to representative Shreya. We are Americans renting in a foreign country which can be challenging with the language differences. From the moment Shreya greeted us she was professional, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure our trip started on the right foot. She handled the entire check-in process seamlessly, took the time to clearly explain all the details, and answered our questions with absolute patience and clarity. What really stood out was her exceptional customer service and warm demeanor. In an industry where transactions can often feel rushed and impersonal, Shreya went above and beyond to make us feel valued as a customer. The vehicle was perfectly prepped, the paperwork was a breeze, and the entire handoff was incredibly smooth. Alamo is lucky to have someone of this caliber representing their brand.   Excellent at both pick up and drop off. My booked 7 seater was not available so I was shown a selection of vehicles and was allowed to choose from a higher value group with much more room for the same price. Both staff members i dealt with were very polite and friendly. Would make Alamo my first search next time.

  I was able to picked up from the airport and taken to the rental car lot by one of their busses. It was a quick and easy inspection of the car they were able to explain the car to me since it was a brand I was not familiar with. Overall return was easy as well I got lost trying to get back to the car lot but everyone was so kind and accommodating when I returned the vehicle.

  I had a lovely experience with the young staff here. They were very nice, gentle, and helpful, making me feel proud of the younger generation. Anthony was especially professional. He tried his best to sell me insurance worth £20 plus £10 for alloy wheel protection, but I gently refused, and he handled it great. We both noticed the car wasn't washed or cleaned properly, which he blamed on the car wash team rushing.Upon returning the vehicle, a young lady noticed I was "late" based on the system. I showed her my Trip.com booking from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM. I arrived to return it around 2:00 PM, but she noted I had picked it up at 1:45 PM the previous day, meaning I could technically be charged for an extra day. I explained that I never requested an early pickup; I just arrived early due to airport timing, just as I did for the return to avoid hassle. She checked with her team and kindly waived the £62 charge. I originally only paid £40 through Trip.com, so I was incredibly grateful she was so helpful and in a good mood! It feels like the company policy tries to sneak in extra charges to make more money, but the staff saved the day.I was initially worried about using the shuttle service because I had two 23kg bags, a 10kg hand luggage, and a personal bag. However, it was incredibly easy, and the van was waiting for me both times. Using the shuttle saved me £90 compared to airport delivery. Overall, I would use Alamo again, and this experience gave me great confidence in Europcar.
