  I hired a van from Enterprise Beckenham earlier this week - pleased with the fast checkout (in fact, one of the fastest I've had) and service. Returning the van was equally fast and efficient and took less than five minutes in total.

  Despite some initial setbacks due to website problems, the manager and staff at Enterprise Beckenham resolved all the issues and managed my hire vehicle booking with aplomb. I commend them for their politeness, perseverance and focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent service.

  A Disgraceful Admin Loop, Predatory Fees, and Zero Accountability I am writing this review publicly because Enterprise has deliberately built a system designed to avoid accountability and prevent customers from keeping a paper log. Their online chat is down, they completely refuse to provide customer-facing email addresses, and front-line phone staff just trap you in an endless admin loop. I am currently abroad and refuse to waste hours on hold, so I am leaving my rental details here. Rental Agreement Number: 3Z6RSC (Beckenham Branch to Southampton Airport) The pricing from this branch is absolutely predatory: they charged me £188.40 for less than 24 hours of use. To make matters worse, the hire was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I had to spend our very first night stranded at the side of the road for hours waiting for the AA to come out. When the AA finally arrived, they couldn't find the fault because the car suddenly decided to start again. Lo and behold, the exact same fault happened again first thing in the morning, meaning we nearly missed our ferry. At the time, I was assured by staff that a manager would contact me to process a refund and proper compensation for the hours wasted and the stress caused. Instead, a month later, no manager has bothered to call, and Enterprise has kept my £200 security deposit with absolutely zero breakdown of charges, zero email communication, and zero updates to my account. You are literally pocketing an extra £200 for the privilege of renting me a faulty car that left my family stranded on the roadside. Unbelievably, this is the second time Enterprise has pulled this exact stunt with me. The same thing happened at a branch in Brooklyn, NY, where they illegally took money and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it back. It is a clear, established pattern of behavior with this company. I hire vehicles at least once a month for travel and business. Enterprise is, without a doubt, the most awful rental company I have ever dealt with. They consistently fail to communicate, actively dodge complaints, and hide behind a total lack of an email trail so they can hold onto customer funds. I highly advise management at the Beckenham branch or corporate to get a grip, review RA# 3Z6RSC, and contact me via email immediately to resolve this joke of a situation. I will not be passed around on the phone anymore. Avoid this company at all costs.
