  Enterprise Barnet Team are amazing. Nothing too much trouble. I met the driver on my home drop off - what an outstanding young man. I will most certainly use Enterprise Barnet again.

  Our family holiday was ruined. I booked and paid in full for a Peugeot 5008 through Booking.com well in advance. When we arrived, we were told the car wasn't available. We were offered a different car for an extra £15 per day, which I reluctantly accepted because I didn't want to disappoint my children. Then they refused to give us the car because I only had a debit card, not a credit card. We had no choice but to leave with no car at all, despite paying in full. Seeing my children heartbroken after waiting so long for this holiday was devastating. This was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I've ever had. I hope no other family has to go through what we did.

  Consistently rude and disrespectful customer service. The young males in the branch need training in courtesy and respect, particularly in their conduct and manners towards women. Some Equality Act training would be beneficial as some of the conduct experienced by my wife at the branch is completely unacceptable.

  I hired a Luton van with an electric tail lift for my house move, only to receive a phone call around an hour before I was due to collect it saying it had been involved in an accident and was no longer available. The only alternative offered was a much smaller van without an electric tail lift because they said they couldn’t find another suitable vehicle anywhere. I was told I’d receive a £20 refund for the price difference (which I still haven’t received) and that I wouldn’t have to pay for fuel. While those gestures were appreciated, they came nowhere near compensating for the inconvenience caused. Because the van was much smaller and didn’t have the tail lift I specifically booked, my move took significantly longer and required multiple extra trips. In the middle of a 30°C heatwave, this made an already stressful house move far more difficult. I contacted them to explain that it had been impossible to complete my move within the original hire period and asked if they could extend the hire by one day. I was told this wasn’t possible because the branch is closed on Sundays, meaning the system would charge me for two additional days. I even offered to return the van to another branch, but I was told this would cost me an extra £150. What I find most frustrating is that I collected the van on Friday at 1pm and was due to return it on Saturday at 1pm. Since the branch is closed on Sunday, the van would simply have been sitting unused on their premises after I returned it on Saturday. Given the circumstances, it would have been good customer service to let me keep it until Monday morning at no extra cost, especially as the issue was caused by them, not me. To make matters worse, the van was handed over dirty, despite being told they needed vehicles returned in time to be cleaned for the next customer. Clearly, that standard wasn’t applied to my hire. Customer service was extremely disappointing throughout. I was told that if I wanted to complain, I couldn’t speak to anyone and had to send an email because they don’t take complaint calls. Overall, this experience turned what should have been a straightforward house move into an exhausting and stressful ordeal. The lack of flexibility, poor communication, and unwillingness to take responsibility for a problem they created means I wouldn’t use this company again or recommend them to others.
