  Really happy with the service at Enterprise Knotty Ash. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, the process was quick and straightforward, and the vehicle was clean and in great condition. Really good customer service and a very easy experience. I would definitely use this branch again and recommend them to anyone looking to hire a car or van. 👍

  Be warned if you try and hire a van of a weekend from this company that you’ll be delayed at least a few hours with no discount or refund for the time you wait around for them to get your pre booked vehicle to you. They’ll promise a partial refund to keep you happy on the day but never send it over and then never answer the phone when you try and phone up about it. They’ll also blame you for pre existing damage to a van because this branch doesn’t do thorough enough checks like the Northwich branch does. The van they gave me looked like it had been dragged through a bush, had internal trims hanging off and oil all over the wood in the back of the van so I had to deep clean half my furniture after moving house too. Don’t fall for the scam! If your booking is delayed make sure you kick off in person because they gave those people refunds on the day, but after thanking me for being patient and not wringing their neck like others they never sent the refund they promised. Conveniently, all the ones they did give refunds to were men, but probably think they could just dismiss me and get away with it as I’m just a woman. You can watch them decline calls all day long in the office too, and corporate just say “this is a branch issue” so they make sure they conveniently can’t be contacted. May look like cheaper prices but when they keep your entire deposit and you end up paying nearly £500 for a van for a day and a half that should have been £200 you’ll regret not using their competitors! They don’t even actually repair the “damage” to the vans considering the condition of the one I was given. Don’t listen to the customer service here too, when you actually contact them like they ask you to, they just dismiss you and say you signed the contract so they can do whatever they want. Absolutely horrible company!

  Up until today my experience with enterprise had been fantastic, from booking & picking up the car & driving off not a problem! Can’t remember the lads name who helped us out on day of pick up, but he could clearly give his colleagues an insight into customer service! Had a missed call today from the Knotty Ash site, so I called them back to check everything was still okay as we still aren’t supposed to return the car until tomorrow over 24 hours away! Got through to office for them to answer the phone & carry on their own conversations to then put me back on hold without a simple hello! Then on hold until that even gave up & buttoned me! Obviously I called straight back to ask why I had been answered ignored & put on hold. To be advised there were customers in the store, to which I replied oh so you only acknowledge your store customers & not your customers on the phone then. After the pitiful excuse & apology I asked why I was even called in the first place. For the staff member to then ask me if I was bringing the car back today or did I want to extend it? To which I clearly stated why would I do that when we have it rented until tomorrow afternoon! Do you only check your systems when you’re taking the initial booking? Then once booked you’ll just ring customers up to get more money even though they already paid? Re training comes to mind.

  Hired a car for 2 days. Returned the car. When the guy walked out to Inspect, I noticed he had gone for a long time. When I looked outside, there was a woman rubbing the side with car polisher. As I went to inspect myself, they said I have caused damage to the car. From the days I have hired I could not think as to where this small scuff came from. I asked if they took pictures or even showed me the damage before rubbing the car. They said no. This was to see if I actually damaged the car with visible fresh marks. The one rubbing the car was a woman (manager) She should fully well know to invite me over before removing evidence. Because there is a scuff I now have to pay £400. This company to me is a scam and from the other negative reviews, they have tried to charge others for damage. Luckily enough for the other drivers, they had prerecorded evidence so they couldn’t get scammed. The £400 won’t be professionally repaired but touched up with a silver pen by enterprise staff like all the other damages on the car. Warning you not to hire from here. Stay away. The reply from Enterprise. No I will no get in touch with customer service knowing fully well I won’t get my money back. Be warned people.
