- JWJenna WilliamsAug 20, 20261.0We only ended up using Enterprise because my car was involved in a non-fault accident and the third party’s insurance provided us with a courtesy car through them. After returning it, Enterprise have taken £350 from my partner’s bank account for a tiny, barely noticeable scratch which we absolutely do not believe we caused. The scratch is so minor that it could easily have already been there when we received the car. Unfortunately we can’t prove that – but equally, Enterprise haven’t provided any proof that it wasn’t there either. What has annoyed me most is that there was no communication whatsoever to tell us that £350 was going to be taken. We simply discovered the money had gone from the account. We didn’t choose to hire a car or even choose Enterprise – we were put in this position because somebody crashed into us. After all the stress that comes with that, the last thing we expected was another £350 disappearing from our account over a tiny scratch we genuinely don’t believe we caused. Really disappointed with the whole experience and the way this has been handled. They say that once the car has been to a body shop for repair we will be refunded the difference of whatever the repair costs but instead of sending it to the body shop they’ve hired it to another customer. So, because I genuinely believe they are going to blame the next customer too, it is the Citroen c3 air cross, black with a white roof. Hopefully the next person who gets charged for damage they didn’t cause will see this.
