Excellent service! This is my first visit to Protyre, managed to fit my Range Rover in for air con refill ahead of the hot weather today. I spoke to Lee and found him to be friendly and accommodating. Brilliant price and very reasonable time frame - were careful with my car. Small touch also very appreciated on such a busy road, parking the car back facing out ready for me to leave quickly and safely. I look forward to booking my other car in soon.

Really poor service on multiple occasions. Found staff to be rude, dismissive and generally not willing to carry out basic work. They cited that they had no availability on 2 different visits but were seen to be stood chatting on both occasions. This place used to be so good, feels like the place has really let itself down over the last few years.

I don’t usually write long reviews and is my first ever one star, but there’s quite a lot to say here.
After replacing my front springs and shock absorbers the final job was to get the wheel alignment done. Booking the appointment was easy and I was initially happy with the service as less than year ago I was replacing rear tyres and at that time the garage did good job.
However concerns started almost immediately. When the technician drove my car onto the alignment ramp, he needed guidance from a colleague. At one point the front tyre ended up hanging off the edge of the platform. I couldn’t see the left-hand side clearly from the waiting area but it was obvious something wasn’t right, and the car had to be repositioned.
It then took quite a long time for the technician to find my car model in the diagnostic system. Another issue was when he locked the steering wheel using a tool but placed it upside down with the engine switched off. This resulted in the steering wheel being noticeably off-centre by around 10 cm.
After running the diagnostics I was told that both axles needed alignment which raised another concern as I had only requested the front and the rear was don less than 1 year ago in the same garage.
When I left the garage the car drove as it should but the steering wheel was still off centre. I returned immediately and although they offered a refund. I refused because I wanted the job done properly. They attempted to fix it again but I wasn’t given a diagnostic printout after the second alignment.
Unfortunately the issue remained, the steering wheel was still off-centre and the car was pulling to the left. As it was nearly 5pm, I decided to come back the next day.
When I returned and explained the problem I was told that I needed to replace suspension components before they could fix it. This didn’t seem credible, especially as the person at the desk hadn’t even inspected the car.
I decided to take my money and go to another garage. Unsurprisingly they completed the alignment quickly, 10£ cheeped and didn’t mention any parts need to be replaced. The whole experience left me feeling like I was being treated as a fool. Also they been claiming that wheel realignment need to be done 3-4 times a year as of the condition of the roads. No comment on that. Something was lost and need to be fix as in my opinion this palce have potential.
