  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise in Loughborough. I needed a replacement car for four days while my own vehicle is being repaired. Before travelling to the branch, I checked availability online and found multiple vehicles apparently available. I even went through the booking process up to the payment stage to verify that a car could indeed be booked. I then walked to the local branch, only to be told that no vehicles were available at all. Naturally, I asked what would have happened if I had completed the booking and paid online. The staff could not provide a satisfactory answer and simply stated that the website was not their responsibility. There was no apology for the inaccurate information, no attempt to explain the discrepancy, and no effort to help find an alternative solution. As a result, I wasted over an hour of my working day walking to and from the branch in very hot weather, based on information that turned out to be completely inaccurate. What is particularly concerning is that customers appear able to proceed all the way to payment despite the branch having no vehicles available. This creates the impression that availability shown online cannot be relied upon. The attitude of the staff was as disappointing as the booking system itself: dismissive, uninterested, and unwilling to take ownership of the problem or acknowledge the inconvenience caused. After this experience, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Enterprise Loughborough and look elsewhere for car rental services.

  We booked a car through our organisation for a business trip. We needed the car early in the morning to set off on time. They had delivered the car the evening before, but had not dropped the keys. When asking for the keys the next morning, they first said it's been delivered to the reception, but after telling them it's not been delivered, they apologised and said someone is on their way to deliver the key! What's the point of delivering the car and not the key! They could as well do both at the same time in the morning. Although we'd booked the car from 8:00am, we were delayed by half an hour and even when they left the keys with reception they didn't call me to let me know. Why do they ask for my phone number in the booking form if they're not gonna call me! We were standing outside waiting for them for another 10 minutes while the car key was with the reception. They should have a clear policy. If they claim they can deliver the car at 8:00am, they really should stick to it.

  Was on the way to pick up the van we rented spoke to lady on the phone all sorted hours before.half an hour before we got there had a phone call sorry van has now had front smashed in and nothing else available very unhelpful and not very nice people at all don’t bother go somewhere else not one bit bothered about letting people down

  Booked a vehicle through their system, which showed availability. On the morning of collection, I received a phone call informing me that no vehicles were actually available and that a refund would be processed. This left me unable to complete my planned journey at very short notice. Very disappointing experience and poor stock management.
