Popped in because the place had good reviews and I needed a quick OBD scan. 5 minutes of messing around with phone numbers, email addresses forms, etc, I had the wherewithal to ask exactly how much they were going to charge for this 5-minute job.
£120.
They seemed quite put aback when I pointed out I could just buy a scanner and do it myself for that much.
In and of itself, this wouldn't really be an issue. But what has prompted the bad review Is the passive aggressive, "good luck with that" that the brunette lady hanging around the desk area felt the need to throw at me as I was leaving.
I went to the Kwit Fit literally across the road, £25 and 5 minutes later I had the scan results in my hands. No luck required, just somebody willing to charge a fair price for what is literally a 5 minute job.
