  It is very rare that I leave a negative review, as most reviews I leave are positive. Unfortunately, this experience warrants one. I booked a car the evening before collection. Enterprise accepted the booking, took payment, and sent me a confirmation email confirming that the reservation had been accepted. The following morning, I arrived at the agreed collection time only to be told that there was no vehicle available for me. What disappointed me most was the response I received. Rather than taking ownership of the situation, I felt that the explanation suggested the issue was related to me booking the night before. In my view, if no vehicles were available, the booking system should not have allowed the reservation to be made and confirmed in the first place. Mistakes can happen, but accepting a booking, confirming it, and then informing the customer at collection that no vehicle is available is extremely frustrating and caused significant inconvenience. Based on this experience, I would not choose to use Enterprise again.

  While the staff in the branch were very helpful and provided excellent customer service throughout, the lack of clear and meaningful information before collection was extremely disappointing. I paid upfront for a premium vehicle upfront, only to be told upon arrival that a £500 security deposit was also required and that this could only be paid using a credit card. I was also informed that additional insurance needed to be taken out, which, combined with the rental cost for less than 48 hours, brought the total upfront payment to £700. This information was not made clear during the booking process and led to unnecessary complications, unexpected costs, and inconvenience when collecting the vehicle. The branch team did their best to assist and were professional throughout and deserve a better rating for themselves they’re a credit to the business, but the poor communication and lack of transparency from Enterprise regarding important rental requirements significantly impacted my experience.

  These guys supplied us with a hire car when we were stuck getting home due to our car breaking down, and they were fantastic, they gave us a car at short notice and thanks to them we made it home safely with our children, thankyou enterprise!
