  I booked a rental van online - and that went fine, and the price was reasonable. The collection process was pretty much standard, but returning it was a nightmare. Upon arriving to return the van the 2 ‘car club’ spaces I’d been instructed to use were both occupied (not by car club vehicles), so as instructed I parked in front of them. It certainly wasn’t how or where I’d normally ‘park’ a vehicle - and I got a few dirty looks. The main problem was once I entered the office - there was only 1 member of staff working and 2 customers already in front of me. Long story short it took 30mins just to return the van !! By the time I left there were 6 customers waiting - so probably an hour or so ?! I don’t blame the staff member - he was working as quickly as could be expected, but they seem massively under staffed at this location (or maybe too many take lunch at the same time) - either way it was zero stars for the return customer service.

  Be careful the the fuel trackers are wrong on the cars so even if you fill the fuel tank full they can tell you it’s not and will charge you from your deposit when its the company’s fault. The staff did not believe me that I filled it up full after lots of argument I had to take them to the petrol station to prove I filled it up full.

  Ban rented with Nails Screws and oil spilt in the back. Drive shaft Knocking, hand break just held, head lamp pointing down. Would fail an MoT on all 3 counts.

  Easy to book and went smoothly, lovely car. Did feel a little pressure to pay for the extra insurance at £28 per day as the excess was £1600 for any accidents per claim. Tyre damage Paintwork damage Bodywork damage all quoted at £1600 per one. So if you had an accident your excess may have been £4800
