  Awful experience check the car in good light with all the doors etc open there was previous damage to passenger door which was difficult to see for which I was charged

  Consistently professional, courteous and friendly staff at Canterbury, Kent. Price is fair, vehicles are great to drive - can't really ask for more, other than a chauffeur. Ok, too much! 😂

  Check-in was easy. Service from the staff were very polite and excellent customer communication. They familiarised me with the hire car. Explained if there were any issues with the car, who to call etc. Again, check-out was very simple, and thanked me for looking after the hire car. They even telephoned a local taxi company for me. Highly recommend Enterprise in Canterbury and wouldn’t hesitate i using them again.

  Rented from this Enterprise location for a Canterbury → London one-way rental and had a frustrating experience overall. I booked a Peugeot 5008 or similar SUV, but when I arrived I was given a van instead. I was told this was considered an “upgrade,” but for narrow English and London roads it absolutely was not what I wanted or booked. I accepted it only because I didn’t have time to return later for another vehicle. More concerning, my final bill included a £20 Damage Waiver charge despite the signed rental agreement clearly showing that all optional protections were declined. That issue was eventually refunded, but only after multiple ignored emails and having to call the branch directly over a week later. The most disappointing part was the lack of communication. I raised the issues at vehicle return and was told someone would follow up within a couple of days, but nobody ever responded to any of my emails. Staff on the phone were polite once I finally reached someone, but overall this was not a smooth or well-handled experience.

  1. Booked Luton van - told 30 minutes before pickup time that it wasn't available until next day. 2. Booked Long wheel base, told not available until 30 minutes past my pickup time. 3. Told they would waive the additional driver fee - still charged me. 4. On drop off the lady tried to claim I damaged the inside (and would charge) - but luckily I had a photo of interior on pickup. 5. Did not then log the interior damage on her tablet. If you book with this branch, cross your fingers and take lots of pictures 📸 Cheers.
