  If I could i would leave a 0 star!! My daughter is having an awful experience with this company. Unfortunately, on the first day of her holiday in the isle of white her car broke down. Obviously, she needed a hire car to get round. She booked for a hire car on line and when she went to pick up the car on the same day, they told her because she was under 25, she could not rent the car. There is nowhere on the Website saying this was the case, infact it states that "total price includes young drivers surcharge of £50 for drivers under 25 years". When she added her age in on the web page it DID NOT flag up to say she could not rent the car because of her age. Her issue now is she is being refused any kind of refund (we want the full £90 refund as she did not get to use their services and there should be no admin fee as my daughter did all the admin). The email came back on the 18th of June saying "our team is currently in communication with the rental company to request a refund for you" to come back 2 days later saying they are unable to refund on this occasion. There has been a lot of back and forth with emails asking for updates from my daughter as they have not responded for upto 4 days at a time. I think that this is absolutely disgusting. As if my daughter and her friends were not stressed and vulnerable enough, this company has only added further stress, not to mention "THEIVING" money for services not used. Be assured, if this is not resolved promptly by this company through my daughters emails, I myself will be taking legal action. My daughter desperately needs her refund as she needs this to go towards mending her own car. My daughter is also a trainee lawyer and SHE KNOWS HER RIGHTS after consulting with her tutor!!!! Hopefully this company will now do the right thing and reimburse the full amount!!

  Booking a car online was easy and straightforward. Car was ready when stated and staff friendly, professional and gave clear instructions. Pleased with quality and how clean the car was. Return process quick and easy.

  I’d heard good things locally about Enterprise Car and Van Hire in Newport on the Isle of Wight and had also read plenty of positive reviews before deciding to book with them. I originally tried booking through the app, but had a few questions, so I went into the branch directly. Beth, the branch manager, was brilliant from start to finish. It was clearly a busy period, but she stayed calm, professional and genuinely helpful throughout. She answered all my questions clearly, explained everything properly, and made the whole process incredibly straightforward. She helped me find the right car hire option at a price that worked for me — just excellent customer service and a really smooth experience. The whole rental process was easy, efficient and stress-free. You can tell this branch values good customer care and professionalism. I can definitely see why Enterprise has such a strong reputation locally. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable car rental on the Isle of Wight, fair pricing, and friendly, professional service
