  Disappointing experience. I decided to use the WGC branch as they get the best reviews locally so did my research, booked what I wanted using the App, and thought ‘well, that was easy’, only to receive a phonecall about 10 mins later saying the car I wanted wasn't available and would I take an automatic instead. Having never driven an automatic I said no, and was then offered a much smaller manual as an alternative. The lady on the phone didn't seem to know much about the cars, so couldn’t answer any of my questions about what I was being offered. My main reason for booking was because I needed larger boot space than my own car for a family staycation, so not much help offering me a car smaller than the one I already have. In the end I just said let’s cancel it. I asked if I would receive an email confirming the cancellation but nearly 24 hours later still nothing. There is no email address to contact the branch, and I’ve tried calling them multiple times this morning only for the line to ring out, so feeling a little scammed right now considering they still have my money and the App is still showing an upcoming rental…

  The team were polite and the van was good but I wouldn't use Enterprise again. Offering vehicle hire but no parking for the car I'm arriving in, is a bit like an ice cream van selling me an 99 and then putting a dollop of ice cream in my hand because they ran out of cones. It's a fundamental part of a vehicle hire service and i was told you don't do it. Treating a windscreen stone chip the same as accident repair just feels like a way to take advantage of your paying customers so you can make extra money. We all know that bank transfers are now immediate but Enterprise hold your £200 deposit for 2/3 days to make money on the interest. Just another way to take advantage of the people who use you.

  The whole team at the Welwyn Garden City branch were just great. So friendly and polite. Great customer service from beginning to end! Will definitely be back if I need a hire care again.
