  I can’t recommend Enterprise Car & Van Hire - St Albans highly enough! From start to finish, the customer service was absolutely outstanding. I requested a different vehicle, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate my request without any hassle. The staff were friendly, professional, and kept me updated every step of the way. Their willingness to go the extra mile and find the right solution really exceeded my expectations.   ⭐☆☆☆ (1/5 Stars) I’ve used Enterprise twice in the last few months, and both experiences were deeply disappointing. On my first visit, the Luton van I booked was unavailable at short notice. Instead of finding an equivalent replacement, I was downgraded to a much smaller vehicle and falsely told it had "the same space in the back." Because my task was time-sensitive and couldn't be postponed, I had to cut a large shed in half just to make it fit, leaving me with repair costs. On my second visit: • Vehicle Hygiene: The cab was filthy—spilled drinks all over the dashboard, previous litter left behind, and even clipped fingernails in the door handle. It clearly hadn't been inspected or cleaned. • Overcharging: I was charged a refuelling fee despite returning the vehicle with the requested 1/4 tank. • Pricing Discrepancies: After being swapped to a different vehicle at short notice, I was promised the price quoted with my Blue Light discount would be honored. Instead, the final bill came through significantly higher with no explanation, despite raising the cleanliness issues upon return. After my recent experience I emailed their customer service with my frustrations and was left with no reply and ignored. Poor communication, zero vehicle checks, and incorrect billing. Extremely disappointing service for a major rental provider Positives: The van drove alright with no mechanical issues. The gents on the reception area are decent and always seem to be doing their best.

  Collected a van for an 8 day rental. Over one of the hottest weeks, the AC didnt work. And there wasnt a drop of screenwash in it. I did over 800 miles and by the end of it, I could barely see out of the bug smeared windscreen. Upon collection I was told they were just finishing up the cleaning of the van. But when I got it, it looked as if it had been greenlaning When I told the employees they just shrugged and said “ok” I have previously had really good experiences with Enterprise through work. But not this time. Not to mention I was ill upon return, ended up being sick outside and nearly passing out. When I asked for some assistance I got laughed at.
