  Plenty of availability, despite a few ICE cars parked in the charging bays. Super fast chargers easy to initiate charging, even without the app.

  All Chademo chargers but 1 is not working. Only apple Green fast charging station 4 works with contactless. Station 5 connects but have to contact customer service as app and the contactless is smashed. Other CCS stations works but not Apple Green and Gridserve.

  Accessibility thoughts - There were plenty of chargers available at this busy service station, but reliability was mixed. Initially the charging session stopped after a couple of minutes when paying by card, so we had to set up the app before charging successfully. The cable was extremely long and heavy, dragging along the ground and requiring considerable effort to manoeuvre. We also noticed that former disabled bays had been replaced by a different charging operator but they could easily have been retained as accessible EV charging bays, which felt like a missed opportunity. "May 2026 Area felt safe & secure - Yes Dedicated disabled EV bays - No Bay is possible to be large enough for PAS1899 (bay 4x6.6m bay, access zone of 1.5m, 1.2m) - No Obstacles - Bollards Charge cable weight- 8.5kg All charger components at appropriate height - Yes Force required to remove cable - Ok but not ideal Shelter - None Digital comments - Ok but needs improving Other - Included poor cable management"

  The first charger I tried had a broken card reader. I then tried three more of different types but I couldn’t get my Skoda Enyaq to charge. Someone else was charging a Skoda Enyaq without any difficulty. Given the lack of any diagnostic information, I’ve no idea what the problem was. I drove to a different location and charged at an Instavolt charger without any difficulty.

  Well located and easy to use. Plug in and scan your card. I was quite surprised how damaged these already are and how little respect other drivers have by blocking two bays and pulling cables across. Pricing is high for the occasional user.
