Awesome friendly service in a time of stress when my van broke.down and I needed a car for a time
Fair and simple customer journey from start to finish. Arran and the team were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, many other companies should take note of how Enterprise do business. Would definitely recommend and happily use again.

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Enterprise Van Hire Stevenage. The customer service throughout was poor and nowhere near the standard I’ve experienced from Enterprise previously.
When collecting the van, instead of properly walking me around the vehicle and highlighting existing damage, I was simply told to “take photos” myself. The van was also handed over in a poor condition — it was dirty, making it difficult to see clearly out of the wing mirrors, had missing cup holders, and there were already two chips in the driver’s side windscreen.
This was especially concerning because on a previous Enterprise hire, we were charged £250 for a windscreen chip and were told that any chips on the driver’s side should be repaired before the vehicle is hired out again. Seeing existing damage like this on collection did not inspire confidence.
Returning the van was also uncomfortable. There was a large group of around eight middle-aged men gathered around the main entrance, which felt intimidating and unprofessional when trying to enter the building. It was a very strange atmosphere and made the experience even more uncomfortable.
Overall, the staff lacked customer service skills and gave the impression that they simply did not want to be there. Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience from start to finish.

Hired a Nissan Juke for my fiance for what was supposed to be £190 for the week. After I had paid, he told us that Enterprise's policy is to charge a £2500 excess for any scratches or defects larger than a golf ball, including tyres. That is totally unreasonable and should have been made clear before hiring. A sleazy way of doing business.
We ended up paying an additional £140 for the insurance to reduce the excess to £250, which nearly doubled the hire cost. I would avoid Enterprise Stevenage and hire a car using Kayak instead if you don't want to be ripped off.
