- AMAdrian MihaiFeb 6, 20261.0Very disappointed with the service. I went there to have two front tyres replaced, and both tyres were losing air afterwards because they were not fitted properly. This already showed a lack of care and professionalism. After that, I also had an MOT done at the same location. During the MOT, they marked the front brake discs as worn. After this, I went to Toyota for a full service and specifically asked them to check the brake discs. Toyota inspected them and confirmed that the discs were perfectly fine, with no issues at all, and they could not understand why Protyre had reported them as worn. I later had another MOT done at the council MOT centre (my car is a taxi). Once again, the brake discs were checked and confirmed to be in very good condition, with no comments or advisories. I even asked directly, and they confirmed there was nothing wrong with the discs. Based on these experiences, I completely lost trust in Protyre Burges Road. Incorrect tyre fitting and inaccurate MOT advisories are unacceptable. I would not recommend this centre due to poor service and lack of reliability.

We are COVID-19 secure and have signed the COVID-19 secure declaration. All our garages adhere to strict COVID-19 protocols including all employees wearing face coverings at all times.
Do I need to wear a face covering when visiting your garage?
To help keep us all safe we do ask that while visiting our garage you remember to wear a face covering (unless exempt in line with Government guidelines) when entering our reception areas and when speaking with members of our in other areas of the garage.
What do I do if I can’t bring my vehicle to your garage?
If you are unable to come to us, then we can come to you. We offer vehicle collection and delivery service as well as mobile fitting services. Please give your local garage a call to talk about how we can help.
Do I need prepare my vehicle in anyway before bringing it to a garage?
Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.
