    1 star is generous. Diagnosed an issue which 2 other garages didn’t the day before. Spent £400 to have parts replaced - accepted it could have been that and paid for work to be done, however they blamed parts being delayed as to why they couldn’t inspect the vechile and then when I called back the following day with the issue still there told me it was something else and they could fix it and would get back to me, I called 4 days later and was told someone would call me back and then again 3 days later the same response. Ive taken the work somewhere else as the level of customer service is below satisfactory and looking at reviews in not the only person who has these kind of issues. There are alternative companies locally who can do the same job without you having to chase them

    I’ve now had three MOT failures at this centre, and the experience has been consistently frustrating. On my first test, they missed an issue entirely, only to then fail the car for it on the second test — which raises serious concerns about how thorough or consistent their inspections actually are. The latest failure was for a misaligned headlight, something that typically takes seconds to adjust. Instead of offering a quick fix or any practical help, I was simply handed another failure and expected to deal with it elsewhere or pay again. I understand MOT testers have rules, but most decent garages will at least try to be helpful with minor issues like this. After three visits ending in failures — including one for something they overlooked themselves — I’ve completely lost confidence in this centre. It feels disorganised at best and unfair at worst. I won’t be returning and would strongly recommend others consider a more reliable and customer-focused garage. Update: Since my original review, I have not been driving the car due to it not having a valid MOT. I’ve now taken it to another garage, where multiple issues have been identified that were completely missed during the MOT carried out by Protyre. This only reinforces my concerns about how poor and unreliable the checks were. An MOT is supposed to ensure a vehicle is safe, so missing these faults is unacceptable. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating and has caused significant inconvenience, costing me additional time and money to sort out issues that should have been identified in the first place. Update . It has been 3 weeks now and no reply from the customer service team so not only is the site a mess but the customer service team is a joke and not willing to help resolve problems
