    Booked in for 11.30 mot, told they where running late because of a earlier vehicle that was a heap of .... So I was happy to wait until 12. 12 comes, car not taken in for the test. I gave it until just after 12 and went into the reception to find out what is going on. I said I can't wait any longer, I have other commitments. I was then told, we were just going to take it in. Obviously that sounded OK until I asked to confirm right there and then. No was the answer, so the car would not have gone in for its mot right there and then. Personally, if I was managing this place, I would have looked at my customers list and see who is due in for tests etc. I would have called each customer that was effected by this earlier issue, running late etc. So that they can make alternative arrangements. But no, also no one came out to update me on the garage running later than 12. And to say we where just going to take the vehicle in, when I said I will leave it. when infact they weren't going to take the vehicle in is all bad customer care. I used to use this garage for tyres with my previous vehicle, and they were very reliable, with good customer service. So I thought I would try them for my vehicles mot. Now I intend not using this garage any further, and would not recommend them to potential customers, for the reason detailed here. Waisting my time and not communicating with me, as well as not being honest is not acceptable. What ever happened to the reliability of this garage. And no I did not rebook my mot here, when asked.

    Saved my skin!!! Huge thank you to Adam and Adam for all their hard work on my car! I had such a nightmare taking my car to 2 different Halfords garages and 1 Setyres to get my car MOT which took 2 weeks, in which they were extremely rude, unhelpful and trying to overcharge me for different work at each garage. I called Protyre for my final plea for help and they reassured me they could get my car back, after Halfords said it would be illegal to now drive my car, they would MOT it and I was in fact getting overcharged by Halfords. They even checked the garages had actually completed the work I had already been charged for, and honestly advised me on whether I should take legal action against the garages in question. Will be returning for all of my car work going forward and would strongly encourage others too, especially young women who often feel targeted by garages like myself - extremely friendly, helpful and create a non-intimidating environment.
