  I would definitely recommend Best Autocentre in Winchester to anyone . The first time I used their services was to have my brakes done on the advice of the main dealer. Lee phoned me and said he would willingly do the work but it didn't need doing. Honesty goes a long way. And they're friendly.

  The communication and service by Adrian and his team was the best I’ve ever received. Quoted for the work before it was carried out. No hidden extras. It’s very rare I felt I could trust a garage but this is as good as it gets! Thank you.

  Adrian at the Winchester branch was extremely helpful, informative and considerate, and went to great trouble to source replacement parts for my car. Everything was attended to with professionalism and efficiency, all at a very reasonable price. Greatly appreciated - thanks to all concerned! This is also a friendly and honest company which builds ongoing relationships with its customers. Strongly recommended.

  This is a review for a service I received from “Best” Autocentres last year which was far from the best. It cost £680. My experience was similar to Evangelos, who clearly had a similar experience 8 months ago. I’ve waited till today to leave the review, because I did my service at a difference place today, which confirmed that, last year, Autocentres likely made me replace 3 tyres that did not need replacement. On the day of my service last year, Autocentres called me and urged me to replace 3 tyres and suggested that I had to do it to be safe and legal because of a low tread depth. I was told that the 4th one would require replacement soon, probably the following year. However, I had only driven my car for 10 months. And my annual mileage is under 4000. My car was purchased from a very reputable dealer, which had done all the wheels before handing the car to me. The dealer even made fixes to the alloy to make sure they looked perfect. In addition, after the service, my car’s tyre pressure warning was on. It turned out at least one of the tyres that’s replaced wasn’t sealed well, so I had to return on another day to get that fixed again. The receptionist didn’t think it was a big deal at all and suggested that I gave them a 5-star review LOL At today’s service, at a different place, I learned that the remaining tyre which Autocentres did not replace still has 5mm tread depth, and given my mileage, I was told that tyre will actually still last me years. I’m puzzled how 3 out of 4 originally identically new tyres which aren’t used extensively could be so much worn than the other one according to Autocentres. I had considered “Dishonesty” from Autocentres to be the answer but wasn’t sure. And it’s until today, I was able to conclude that “Dishonesty" really might be the answer. I won’t be taking my car to Autocentres again for sure. And for anyone who’s got options, please look around. There are a lot more ACTUALLY honest places in Winchester. I’ve still got my receipt from last year. I’ve got my bank transaction to prove the service taking place. I can probably also fetch the call history to show our interaction after the service for fixing the badly sealed tyre problem.
