Booked online for an aircon regas, it was done whilst I waited, and was very much appreciated during the recent hot weather. Second visit was a drop-in on the off chance that they could rectify a longstanding squeal from the front wheels that I’d been back and forth to another garage with. They immediately identified the problem and had it sorted within a couple of hours after ordering the part there and then. Will be back later in the year when I need my service and MOT carried out! Thanks again, I hope the team enjoyed the ice lollies!

- AMAdrian MihaiFeb 6, 20261.0Very disappointed with the service. I went there to have two front tyres replaced, and both tyres were losing air afterwards because they were not fitted properly. This already showed a lack of care and professionalism. After that, I also had an MOT done at the same location. During the MOT, they marked the front brake discs as worn. After this, I went to Toyota for a full service and specifically asked them to check the brake discs. Toyota inspected them and confirmed that the discs were perfectly fine, with no issues at all, and they could not understand why Protyre had reported them as worn. I later had another MOT done at the council MOT centre (my car is a taxi). Once again, the brake discs were checked and confirmed to be in very good condition, with no comments or advisories. I even asked directly, and they confirmed there was nothing wrong with the discs. Based on these experiences, I completely lost trust in Protyre Burges Road. Incorrect tyre fitting and inaccurate MOT advisories are unacceptable. I would not recommend this centre due to poor service and lack of reliability.
