  I have just had the worst car rental experience of my life here and I will never rent from Sixt again. I was told my licence had failed its checks when I arrived, leaving meand my 8 month pregnant wife stranded. All the online checks had been fine and I have rented from Sixt multiple times in the past and never had any issues. I spoke to customer service on the phone and they confirmed there were no issues with my license or account, but they couldn't reverse the branch's decision. And I was able to rent a car from Enterprise without issue - although it was more expensive as I hadn't booked it in advance. Rent a car from here if you want to be stranded without warning. Sixt have lost a loyal customer.

  Rented a car from 14/08 to 16/08. Punctured a tyre on the afternoon of 15/08 around 4:30PM. Immediately called their 24/7 Road Assistance and kept being put on hold to discover 4 hours and half later when dark that they could not send anyone to replace the tyre and instructed to leave the vehicle there for their contractor to pick up. No alternative vehicle, no service provided. Worst of it all, two days calling all their numbers with no one being able to help or provide updates. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

  This was an outrageously bad service. I booked a car and Sixt took all the money including a security deposit. Three minutes before the office closed they left a voicemail saying there was no car and they did not refund the money. It was impossible to reach a real human. DO NOT USE.

  I hired a car from Sixt at Southampton this weekend. I arrived at the cusp of the office closing but I had no worries as Bobby called me to talk me through the process of collecting my keys out of hours. He was extremely helpful and even waited for me to arrive. I couldn't praise him highly enough - so polite, so helpful. I have never received customer service from a car hire provider on this level before and I will 100% hire from Sixt at Southampton in the future. The car was perfect as well, no complaints. Thank you!
