On Monday, I went for an air conditioning gas refill, but I was told that the compressor was faulty, and they quoted me 800 pounds. I didn't go ahead with it instead, I booked another diagnostic appointment at Halfords. At Halfords, they said there was no issue with the compressor at all it was just that the gas hadn't been added. I provided all these documents from Halfords, but Protyre still didn’t refund me immediately. They asked me to come to the store and told me to contact Groupon so that they would reach out to me. It is honestly a ridiculous situation despite me showing the AC was working, they still asked me to call Groupon for a refund. This kind of behavior causes a huge loss of trust I do not recommend them at all

It wasn’t over priced I’ve stopped using a certain garage because I was told one price over the phone and when I had my tyre fitted there was extra money added on and also recommended a friend he was told the same thing over the phone and after they fitted both of his tyres he paid a lot more than he was told over the phone. So I highly recommend this Company and will stick with these in the future

I had the work done, and the garage identified that my front shocks now need replacing as a matter of urgency, as they are leaking really badly, and would fail the MOT. I hadn't noticed anything wrong, and asked my Dad (ex-mechanic) for a second opinion. He looked over them, and saw nothing wrong. I took my car for a service at the main dealer last month, and asked them to take a look at the front shocks for me - they said there was nothing wrong with them, and have plenty of life left. I then took my car for an MOT on the 25th May at an independent garage in Grantham, and again, asked them to check the front shocks, and funnily enough, they also advised that there was nothing wrong, and my car passed the MOT with no advisories. I am now wondering if the garage has also conned me out of the rear shocks and springs that I replaced last year, after I took my car over there for an MOT and 2 new tyres... unfortunately my trust has been completely lost in this garage. I don't seem to be the only one that this has happened to either, judging by some of the other reviews. I won't be recommending this garage, or the chain for that matter. I understand that businesses need to make money to operate, but why they claim to be friendly, supporting and honest, is beyond me.

Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.
