  I had arranged a hire van from the Alton branch 3 weeks prior to needing it, on the day before in the afternoon they rung me and said there are no vans available anymore. The only solution they offered me was to use another company that wanted to charge me twice as much. A valuable lesson has been learned here and that is to not bother with Enterprise again.

  For the second time, they didn’t have the vehicle booked and tried to palm me off with an inappropriate replacement. This time they rang me up before I went to pick up the vehicle on the day, after I had checked in online the day before. Why didn’t they tell me before? I then spent the rest of the day finding an alternative vehicle from a different company.

  This place deserves 0 stars. It’s 3:09pm. The posted business hours says they are open until 6pm, but the doors are locked. We called Enterprise corporate and they didn’t have a local number to contact. We have been knocking outside for 20 minutes. There is an employee swiveling in a chair in the side room completely ignoring us. Someone passed by wearing a t-shirt and gym shorts carrying food saying he doesn’t work here, but informed us the employee is in a meeting and should be back in 20 minutes. He then proceeded to walk in the branch through the back door. We continued to wait for several minutes before we finally gave up. Completely unprofessional!

  I just dropped my son off but he was pleased with car it had milage indicator while driving and rear view camera when reversing but I didn't drive it myself

  What use is a van hire place that cannot provide the van that you have booked through a computerised system? Or in fact any van when you turn up to collect. Enterprise you are useless
