Called Hazelton for a quote on two Michelin tyres and initially said I’d come in. Around 15 minutes later I called back to cancel after the garage already holding my car matched the price.
I appreciate they’d ordered the tyres, but I called back immediately. The attitude was completely unnecessary — I was told to “hurry up” on the initial call, that the other garage were “robbing” me / “taking the piss”, and when I cancelled that I was now “taking the piss” out of Hazelton and it was “bad practice”.
I understand the frustration, but speaking to a customer like that is unprofessional. If that’s the attitude before they’ve even done any work, I wouldn’t want to deal with them if something went wrong afterwards. Won’t be using or recommending them.

I'm really pleased with the service from Gordon Hazelton tyres after ordering online a rear tyre for my R1250GS early morning and getting it fitted on the afternoon. Particularly pleased at the care that was taken of my wheel. Many thanks. D
