Very very happy with the service at D&G Falkirk! Alan, Scott, Paul, Owen and Stevie did excellent work on both my last car and my current one. they are highly knowledgeable on my particular vehicle model. On my last car they replaced the rear axle, which is a complex job. The other garages i went to in the Falkirk/Denny/Bonnybridge area were either unwilling to take on this level of work or did not have the equipment/machinery needed to carry out such a task, but the D&G garage in FaIkirk did! I was very impressed by this and would definitely take my car back to them again!

I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COST ..they done work on my 3 series and whoever fitted both springs did a cowboy job by fitting the strut housing incorrectly and steering hydraulic hose was likely clamped back into the wrong position or misrouted, causing it to physically rub against the drop link while turning or going over bumps..they wil over charge you thats for sure for a job they cant do properly.

Really poor service from this garage. Would avoid at all costs.
Took my car in for what I thought was a wheel bearing replacement. Received a phone call quoting £157 which I thought was a bit over priced but the location and the fact I needed this sorted quickly determined my decision to use this garage.
Roughly 5 hrs later the car was ready for collection. I was asked what I was quoted on the phone, £157 something. The colleague had to go and check as it was £160.37 written. Ok, I’m not arguing about a small added amount but grease/cleaners as stated on the invoice - seriously? 😂😂
Anyway, I drive away happy it’s been fixed, only to make a right turn to find the noise remains.
A short while later I drive back to the garage where I spoke to another colleague, Owen I believe his name is. Who didn’t appear to have a clue when I asked him if there were any other issues identified while inspecting the car. He simply said no. So I asked is it possible that the wheel bearing has been replaced on the wrong side and if so, would I be expected to pay again. He told me all wheel bearings were checked but if the other side needed replacing I would have to pay again.
2 more colleagues appear, again explained that the noise was still present if not worse than when I dropped the car off.
The only helpful member of staff took the car for a drive. Quite a while later I’m asked to come in to be shown that I need new brake discs and pads.
I questioned why this wasn’t checked, to be told that it was in fact on the job card. I wasn’t told about that, had I been quoted for that and the wheel bearing, I absolutely would have gone elsewhere.
Nobody seems to know who called me, so I can only assume it was either Owen (the fitter) or Scott (supervisor) who I’ve heard is apparently useless at communicating and likes to rush jobs through.
Anyway, the best part of the experience was when they priced the brake disc and pad replacement. £233
The guy looked genuinely surprised when I said I’d go elsewhere and I wouldn’t be back to D&G Autocare. What’s the reason for that he asked……
For one I’ve never paid £160 for a wheel bearing replacement, ever.
Nice of him to offer a 10% discount.
Absolutely laughable.
Thanks for the terrible service and reminding me however big the inconvenience to look further afield and go with smaller garages that value custom.
