    I had a car rented for 8 days. Amazing onboarding and returning brand new MG. The car was given to me by Ionela - very kind person! I even got a call from Ionela on the second day of my rental asking me if everything is okay and if i am satisfied with the car. I returned the car without any problems and the deposit was returned to me without any charges by very nice guy Don who treated me like really good friend! Thank you for an amazing experience, will come back again! Robin

    This rental company does not appear to operate in good faith. If you’re wondering how they undercut larger companies on price, my experience suggests the savings may come at the back end through damage claims. We were handed a vehicle with multiple pre-existing damages already listed on the Vehicle Condition Form (VCF), including two curb rashes on the front passenger-side alloy. At the time of pickup, the vehicle was considered roadworthy by the company. When we returned the vehicle the next day, the employee handling the return, Daniel, pointed to rubber flaking on the sidewall and claimed we had caused the damage. He physically peeled part of the rubber himself and stated they would never have allowed a vehicle in that condition on the road. The issue is that the VCF completed before the rental already documented damage to the same wheel area. When I asked for recent tire inspection or maintenance documentation, none was provided. Despite that, he immediately dismissed the possibility of age-related tire deterioration or dry rot. If rubber can flake off a tire without corresponding wheel damage or a significant impact event, that raises reasonable questions about the tire’s condition before the rental began. We experienced no puncture, impact, warning lights, or incident during the rental period. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend documenting everything at pickup and reconsidering booking with this company if alternatives exist.

    Absolute Discrimination and Unacceptable Customer Service I am writing this review to warn everyone about the shocking, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable behavior I experienced at Green Motion. ​I had a fully pre-paid car rental reservation that was included in a travel package. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was refused service solely based on my profession as a Sergeant in the Portuguese Army. ​The way the situation was handled was deeply unprofessional and cowardly. When the staff decided to deliver this final decision, they forced me to step outside into the street so that other customers in the office wouldn’t overhear how they treat people. ​To make matters worse, we tried to make a new reservation under my wife’s name. This was also immediately rejected without any valid reason, simply because she is married to me. ​When I demanded to have this ridiculous decision and the reasons for the refusal in writing, they flat out refused to provide any written documentation. ​This is a clear, undeniable case of discrimination. I am a proud member of the military, and to be denied a service I already paid for because of my profession is both disgusting and illegal. A formal complaint is being filed with the regulatory authorities. Do yourself a favor and AVOID Green Motion at all costs. They do not respect customers, they lack basic transparency, and they openly discriminate. The reservation was for May 22nd and it was made through the Logitravel travel agency, I think you have all the necessary data. Unless you don't even log the reasons for uncollected reservations.

    Beware of extreme hidden fees for penalties! I strongly advise against renting from Green Motion Stansted (Envirocar). ​Disproportionate: For two traffic penalties (Congestion Charge) totaling £36.00, I was charged an additional £136.00 in "management fees." ​Price Gouging: The fee of £68.00 per incident is nearly four times the cost of the actual fine. ​No Goodwill: Despite requesting a reduction since both incidents occurred during the same short rental period, management refused any gesture of goodwill. ​Trap: The vehicle's registration status made it nearly impossible for a tourist to pay the charge independently, effectively forcing customers into this expensive fee trap. If you rent here, be aware that any minor traffic oversight will be heavily exploited by Green Motion's excessive service charges.

    Very disappointing experience with U-Save / Green Motion Stansted Airport. I booked a car online for £149.93 for 11 days. When I arrived at the desk, I was told by the agent that this payment would be “voided” and that I needed to pay an additional £396 in order to proceed with the rental and insurance. At no point was it clearly explained to me that: - I could continue with my original booking and a higher excess, - or that the £396 was only for excess reduction and not part of the rental cost. As a tourist, after a long flight, I relied on the information given by the staff and felt pressured into accepting extra charges that were not properly explained. Afterwards, customer service completely denied what was said at the desk and refused any refund, despite multiple emails and escalation attempts. Please read all terms very carefully before signing anything, and be extremely cautious with additional insurance or excess-reduction products offered at pickup. I would not use this company again and would not recommend it, especially to foreign travellers unfamiliar with UK rental practices. They will scam you for sure so please be aware if you care about your money please book elsewhere
