  My experience well, had accident wet upon a car hit mine on Wed 5th May. Cut along story short, your company were the recommended to supply a hired car. I spoke to your branch at Chelmsford who informed me me can’t deliver, or you can come collect. I couldn’t believe he said that, so to end the saga I was promised today Friday between 2-4 still not hear rang the branch 10 times no answer. I would nerve wish anyone to use your company again.

  Warning. Enterprise charged me £4 per litre for fuel Yes, £4 per litre. The petrol station that is 100 meters from Enterprise costs £1.80 per litre. When I collected the van, the person who served me said that because of the current high price of fuel, they were doing a great deal. I asked if there would be an admin charge and he said no. So I foolishly agreed. I returned the van having used around 13 litres of fuel. They told me that they would deduct the fuel cost from my £200 deposit. Today I received the invoice and discovered that Enterprise have charged me £54 for fuel. They charged me for 18 litres at £2.03 per litre. They then charged me 20% VAT on top of that. They charged a £10 fuel admin fee. Taking into account the extra 5 litres they added on, that works out over £4 per litre. I have used Enterprise for many years. I will continue to use them. But I will never let myself get tricked in to this fuel scam again.

  I visited the Enterprise in Chelmsford last Friday to pick up a 9-seater van. I’ve used the same Enterprise, Chelmsford branch before when it was at their previous location, but this was my first time visiting the new site. The whole experience was very smooth. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the pickup process easy and relaxed. Returning the van was just as simple. One of the team met me in the car park and went through the return checks with me, and it was all done quickly without any hassle. Overall, really great service. I’d definitely recommend this branch if you’re planning to rent a vehicle. Sorry I can’t remember the staff names, but best wishes to the Chelmsford team — keep up the great work!
