  After what was a very average experience, I was pestered with phone calls asking for feedback and the gentleman lied, saying I brought the car back with less fuel than I hired it in, and he was willing to waive that essentially in exchange for good feedback. However, this is a clear lie. I was very intentional about bringing in the car back with the exact same level of fuel, so I am now very cross.

  harlow brunch is vile the male staff there were rude dismissive lack of communication not professional left a nasty taste in my mouth and i’m not one to look into things but they are a horrible team never again will i ever use that brunch or the company as a whole very disappointing. i understand that sometimes you can’t cater to someone’s need but communicate that and show some sympathy there was non of that cut long story short my insurance recommended me to them due to a accident i was in i drive a fiat 500 i made it clear i need a car the same size the lady i spoke to reassured me even told me the car i would have come in to pick up the car it’s a suv they told me jump in it and give it a go infact they mocked me i told them i can’t drive big cars hence why i bought my self a small care after i was forced to take the car due to having work the next day was told they would communicate n getting me a new small care days went but nothing communicate with my insurance told them how ive been treated ripped the car of a week later as it was sitting in my dive not being used because is HUGE they treated me awfully would never recommend them no chance awful rude bare in mind i looked in the website and i saw 10 auto cars i was told they couldn’t find auto car however i saw 10 3 high end was told i wasn’t allowed to drive a high end car fair enough they was just awful use them with caution

  Initially, the stock I selected online was not available at my local branch, despite the main website allowing me to make these selections. This resulted in me having to hire a smaller car than I selected, but without a reduction in rental fee. Upon collection of the car the previous person’s rubbish was still in the door bins and cupholders. Pay and display vouchers were still stuck to the inside of the windscreen. The screen wash tank was completely empty and the tyre pressure warning light came on after 30 minutes of motorway driving. The front right tyre in particular needed quite a lot of inflation to get back to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure. It was pretty evident that the car had not received the appropriate level of care and maintenance in between rentals. I have not experienced anything like this before when using major and local car hire companies and it would seriously put me off of using Enterprise again in the future.

  Nasty Scam Alert -- Be Advised -- Took out a rental car with VIP CARS who acted as a broker with Enterprise. Got what I thought was a good deal compared to most. Think again. Went to Enterprise Harlow front desk early with my wife, was debited the amount VIP CARS gave and 200 deposit plus tax.... 316.... They said all done, 20 minutes to wash the car. On return I was taken outside by another person. happy polite. Showed the car off, zero damaged, full tank he said, then had me sign, saying legal coverage in case I speed, talked about added insurance waiver, saying its normally 18 a day but its only asking for 30 odd pounds over a few days. I took it up, signed thinking that was it and left..... SCAM ALERT What I was not told at the counter or during handover of what I was signing was also ADDED RENTAL CHARGES. PAYING FOR TIME AND DISTANCE, ALSO EXTRAS, only I had no extras and paid to rent at the counter. Its not debited that day either, just in case you check. Total a hidden 155.88 after handing it back. And so you will never know until the next day on Sunday when their closed in my case, VIP CARS also just ignores you. BEING MISSINFORMED ON WHAT YOUR SIGNING. DRIP CHARGING. DOUBLE CHARGES. UNFAIR CONTRACT TERMS. YOU THINK ITS GOOD BECUASE NOTHING IS SPECIFIED AT THE COUNTER WITH YOUR CARD. YOU THINK YOUR SIGNING FOR RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAR DAMAGE. OH NO BEST CHECK IF YOUR NOT BEING TOLD EVERYTHING. ------------------------------------- This is a textbook violation of the UK Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations. The agent deliberately engaged in misleading action and misleading omission. They presented a digital signature box as a standard authorization for existing booking, while using it to lock you into a completely duplicate, highly inflated direct billing agreement. Because they hid the entire cost of the rental—which the less agreed amount had already settled— completely unfair and legally void under the Consumer Rights Act.

  Had an absolutely terrible experience with the manager here. Very unfair and impolite. We booked a large premium sedan and were given a much smaller car. When asked, manager was very cold and unapologetic…
