- CPChris and Phil6 days ago1.0Very expensive, was competitively priced but all the Colchester Petrol stations in Colchester seem to be operating a Cartel these days. I usual fill up when I'm Ipswich or Bury St. Edmunds way, often up to 10p a litre cheaper.
- JBJessica BrownSep 20, 20261.0One of the most annoying parts of this petrol station's layout is that you don't know which pump is going to be contactless/card payment at pump only, or give you the option to pay at pump or in the kiosk until you've pulled up. And to be honest, I'm used to Asda's pay at pump only set up and well versed with other hybrid options at Shell stations. The trick here is that they're consistent. Never before have I seen a Russian roulette set up where you pull up and SURPRISE this pump is card only, but surprise again, the one directly in front offers card and kiosk payment! To keep you on your toes in case you'd assume that the entire back row are card only pumps, surprise again! It was so confusing using this and seeing all of the other drivers go inside to pay, meanwhile I'm accidentally at an unmarked card only pump trying to figure out why the display is reading £80 for fuel still and hasn't been cleared. The card only pumps are a pain as well because they pull a pre-auth charge of £120, and just to REALLY rub it in, all of the card only pumps DO NOT OFFER A RECEIPT. It's a no from me. I'll stick to Sainsbury's or Asda's petrol stations! Do better Tesco and rethink this. A quick Google and now I can see that this has been an ongoing issue for years with a ridiculously high pre-auth charge. If you're going to pull that malarkey, you better ensure card only pumps supply a receipt, printed or digital. It's the 21st century, don't cheap out on us now.

- MCmichael couttsAug 30, 20261.0Just went to fill the motorbike up and they asked me to remove my motorbike helmet. Absolute joke.
- HHHintsJun 21, 20261.0Sort your diesel prices out, absolute joke, should change the uniform for a mask stripy jumper and a swag bag. Nice staff though. But daylight robbery. Shameful.
