  **Check the tyres VERY carefully and take photos of every part of the car to cover yourself** I hired a car from Clacton on Sea branch on Saturday 15th Aug as my car was in the garage and returned it today. Despite the website confirming it's 'no problem to collect you' they did not have enough staff to accommodate this promise. The car I was given was different to what was advertised and internally smelt v unpleasant. On collection I inspected the car and visually inspected the tyres and hubs from standing as the car was parked so tightly to others it was difficult to crouch down and thoroughly inspect, there was no obvious tyre damage. I should have crouched down and run my hand over each tyre more carefully. Whilst driving the car I did not hit a pothole, kerb, drive over anything or have any accident. Infact I hardly drove it at all because my own vehicle was ready earlier than expected hence me dropping the vehicle back sooner but still paying the full rental price. On return of the vehicle Enterprise identified a small gouge on one of the tyre rims which I did not identify at the inspection. I am so unhappy at the assumption that this occurred on my rental and urge people to be extremely careful when inspecting vehicles for defects not visible to the untrained eye. I did not cause the damage to the tyre despite Enterprise wanting to charge me for this. My advise to everyone is to photograph each tyre VERY closely including the rims and ask for the tyre pressure confirmation before u drive the vehicle. Do not accept their statement that thorough checks have been completed on the vehicle. Enterprise is a dishonest financially focused company. I have used them in the past but never again. I am utterly devastated. An awful company

  10/10 Got there early and they sorted me out anyway and let me leave with a nicer car then what I was originally ment to have, the woman and fella at the clacton branch are very proffesional and made everything super easy, very good service and the car itself was clean and well looked after and for the Price I cant complain will 100% use them again in the future.
