  Very disappointed with Enterprise – disputed charges and further money taken I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Enterprise. I was charged £140 in administration fees relating to Dart Charge penalties. The important point is that Dart Charge subsequently cancelled the penalty element, with the normal road toll remaining payable and settled. I disputed Enterprise’s administration charges and asked them not to take any further money while the matter was being investigated. Despite this, Enterprise subsequently took another £70, bringing the amount I am currently disputing to £210. What concerns me most is not simply the amount of money. It is the way the charges have been handled. I have repeatedly asked Enterprise to explain the contractual basis for these charges and, in particular, why they believed they were entitled to take the additional £70 after I had expressly told them that the charges were disputed and that no further payment should be taken. I have now formally requested a full breakdown of the £210, the relevant contractual clauses, the basis for the £35 administration fees, details of the administrative work allegedly carried out, and the authority relied upon for taking the additional £70. My advice to other customers: check your bank statements carefully after renting from Enterprise and don’t simply assume that every additional charge they take is something you have to accept. I gave Enterprise the opportunity to resolve this reasonably. I am now waiting for them to properly justify the charges or refund the £210. This has been a very disappointing experience and, based on how this dispute has been handled, I would think very carefully before using Enterprise again.

  This is my local branch to work and I use our business account for both cars and vans for varying lengths of time and find the staff here very helpful, the online booking is simple and they always deliver and collect close to the time they say they will.

  It’s a nice place which shares a site with a very good barber, nice cafe/restaurant/bar, and a car wash. The staff tend to be young, enthusiastic, and helpful. The car I hired was modern, clean, and very nice to drive. It’s all good. No problems. 👍🏼

  Enterprise delivered a really smooth experience. I hired a normal van but and electric van was provided and it was genuinely a pleasure to drive, quiet, comfortable, and with a range that worked well for my trip. For longer journeys the range could be more limiting, and if you’re not familiar with EV charging it might take a moment to figure out, but overall it performed well for us. The team at Enterprise were excellent: friendly, helpful, and efficient. The check‑in and return process was fast and straightforward, making the whole rental hassle‑free. A reliable, modern service with great staff. All of the insurance extras are just a pain to understand and navigate. Just offer a hassle free service that includes damage wavers.

  I booked a Vauxhall Corsa (or similar) but was initially given a Nissan Qashqai, which showed a “battery management fault, service now” warning on the dashboard. I reported this to staff and, after about 30 minutes, was taken to another customer’s residence and offered a Fiat 500, which I was told was equivalent to the Corsa I had booked. In my view, a Fiat 500 is not comparable to a Vauxhall Corsa in size or class, and I felt misled by the “or similar” wording. Based on this experience, if you book a Vauxhall Corsa here, be prepared to receive a much smaller vehicle instead! An update - I was contacted by the manager Kyle today who kindly offered to swap fiat 500 initially rented with Nissan Juke. Thank you, team for sorting it out for me, very much appreciated!
